Elsmere Dog Boarding

Give your pup the vacation they deserve by boarding them at Dogtopia of Elsmere! Whether you need to drop your dog off overnight or for an extended stay, we have everything they need to keep them happy, healthy and safe.

With a full day of daycare PLUS early morning and late evening care, our boarding pups enjoy more than 14 hours a day of dog and human interaction, keeping them physically and mentally stimulated while their family is away.

Boarders enjoy the comforts of our state-of-the-art facility, playing all day and spending their downtime in our comfortable, home-style dog crates. Dog parents are welcomed and encouraged to bring bedding and a favourite toy from home to make their pup’s stay even more comfortable, though we will provide bedding if required.

And don’t forget every dog’s favorite part: FOOD! Boarding dogs are fed individually and per their doggy parents’ instructions. Keeping boarding dogs on the same eating schedule they have at home is an important part of keeping them happy and healthy during their stay with us.

Boarding dogs will be given a bath after every four days to ensure our playrooms and furry guests remain clean and odor-free.

We are conveniently located at the intersection of Kirkwood Highway (Route 2) and Dupont Road (Route 100) next to Angerstein’s Building Supply & Design Center. Our location is just one mile east of Delaware VA hospital on Route 2.

We provide our customers with award-winning service. Dogtopia of Elsmere is the two-time recipient of The Delaware News Journal’s Reader’s Choice Award for best dog daycare and boarding and 2014 and best dog grooming in 2015.
We ask that you drop your dog off before 5 pm if they are going to spend the night. This gives them the chance to play with the other dogs and get used to our facility before bedtime.

We also require that any dogs that stay with us have up to date vaccinations and be free of fleas, ticks and any contagious diseases. Please remember to bring any medication your dog may have as well.

Webcam Access

Dogtopia of Elsmere offers webcam access so you can watch your dog at any time during the day using any desktop or mobile device that’s connected to the internet.

Spa Services

Want to pamper your dog during their stay? We offer spa packages as part of our overnight and weekend boarding packages.  We offer spa services, grooming, flea and tick treatments, and more. Our groomer is known in Elsmere for providing the best grooming for dogs; that’s why we recommend booking at least a week in advance.

• Wake Up: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
• Morning Play Time: 7:00 a.m. – Noon
• Nap Time: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Afternoon Playtime: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Dinner: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Evening Playtime: 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
• Potty Break and Bedtime: 9:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Supervised Safety

The team at Dogtopia of Elsmere is dedicated to providing our all of our four-legged guests with a safe and fun environment. We ask that you bring your dog to our location first so our team can meet your dog and get to know them before we decide if our open play environment is the right fit for them.

Dog Boarding Prices

We offer dog boarding at prices designed to fit any budget. Our friendly and knowledgeable team will work closely with you to determine which of our boarding packages is best suited to both you and your dog. Space for overnight boarding is limited, so we recommend booking in advance.
