Although we may want to take our pups with us on every trip, there may be hotel restrictions or travel-induced anxieties. Whatever the reason, Dogtopia of Meadowvale offers short-term and long-term boarding packages that provide your dog with a safe and fun environment to enjoy while you’re away.
DOG BOARDING IN MISSISSAUGA
We understand the social nature of dogs which is why we do not believe in kennelling our canine guests for the majority of the day. Unlike most dog boarding facilities, when your pup is boarded at Dogtopia of Meadowvale, they will have full access to the same amenities as our daycare dogs! That means they will enjoy up to 10 hours of off-leash, open play with like-minded pups in our spacious and clean playrooms. The only time we crate our pups is during personalized rest and when they turn in for the night after a long day of play with their fellow canine friends.
Our guests enjoy five-star accommodations in spacious and comfortable home-style crates. However, if your pup needs extra space or you prefer to upgrade their stay, we also have spacious suites available.
Dogtopia of Meadowvale will take all necessary measures we can to ensure that your fur baby has the most comfortable and fun time during their stay. We encourage pet parents to bring in familiar objects that can help ease any separation anxiety, such as bedding or a blanket. It is also important to maintain your dog’s regular diet to not upset their stomach or cause any digestive issues, so we request that pet parents bring in their dog’s regular food. We do not charge extra if your dog requires medications to be administered during their stay.
You can rest easy knowing that your dog will be fully supervised during the day by our Canine Coaches. Our team of Canine Coaches is expertly trained on all aspect of dog behaviour and can even detect the slightest shift in dog body language. Your pup will enjoy the family-integrated atmosphere we provide, as all dogs in our care are treated like our own and given plenty of well-deserved love and affection. We also provide overnight supervision for our boarding dogs.
SAFETY BEFORE ALL
At Dogtopia of Meadowvale, we have a pledge to health and safety. This is why we require all of our boarding dogs to undergo a Meet & Greet where our team will get to know your pup and assess if we are the they are the right fit for our open play environment. We also require that all dogs that stay with us have all current vaccinations and be free of fleas, ticks and any contagious diseases.
If your dog is boarding with us for the first time and is not a Dogtopia daycare dog, we ask for at least three days of daycare prior to your boarding stay so they can understand that Dogtopia is truly their temporary home away from home and you will always come back to pick them up.
