Dogtopia is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our Phoenix Support Office team. This individual will support new Dogtopia franchise daycares across the country, from lease signing through grand opening, and will drive new business operations to ensure daycares are on target for Year 1 success.

As a New Franchise Operations Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • Providing remote support as primary point of contact to new franchisees
  • Facilitating a 6-day, onsite ‘Boot Camp’ for new daycare openings
  • Ensuring new daycares are ramping to hit pre-defined Year 1 targets
  • Maintaining a professional, calm demeanor as a Dogtopia Brand Ambassador during new daycare openings
  • Problem-solving when opportunities arise during new daycare openings
  • Responding to franchisee questions in a professional and timely manner
  • Evaluating daycare opening processes and providing solutions to drive performance and mitigate barriers affecting Year 1 ramp
  • Following, executing, and enhancing materials checklists based on learnings and best practices captured during daycare visits
  • Assisting in the creation of operations tools and materials that drive continuous improvement to the daycare opening process
  • Completing special projects as requested by Directors of Operations

  • You are a motivated, driven, self-starter. You take ownership of the time you spend with us and truly make a difference
  • You have a valid driver’s license
  • You are able to be on your feet for 10-12 hours/day, as required

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE:

  • An undergraduate degree (preferred) and/or 5-10 years of operations experience
  • Background in a franchise or retail environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn new software applications quickly
