Or perhaps you just need your dog out of the house overnight?<\/p>\n<p>Dogtopia of Edmond can be your pup&#8217;s home away from home, whether you\u2019re just looking to leave your dog overnight or for an extended period of time.<\/p>\n<h2>WHAT SETS OUR DOG BOARDING APART<\/h2>\n<p>Dogtopia of Edmond is not just a place for your pup to sleep. Our boarding dogs also get to enjoy 10 hours of fun-filled days of play and exercise with our daycare dogs.\u00a0We do not have kennel runs; instead, our boarding dogs enjoy full use of our open-play, off-leash environment. After hours of play and socialization, they will rest soundly in a place they know and trust. When your pup turns in for the night, they will be well exercised and socialized. And best of all, they will have made new BFFF&#8217;s (Best Furry Friends Forever)!<\/p>\n<p>Dogtopia of Edmond&#8216;s\u00a0dog care professionals will take every step to ensure that your dog is happy, healthy and comfortable during their stay.<\/p>\n<h2>SUPERVISED SAFETY<\/h2>\n<p>We are dedicated to keeping your dog safe and happy. Before you book your dog&#8217;s boarding stay, please bring them to Dogtopia of Edmond so our caring team can conduct a personal meet and greet your dog and determine if they are the right fit for our open-play, off-leash environment.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dogtopia.com\/edmond\/contact\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Contact us now<\/a>\u00a0to schedule your appointment.<\/p>\n<p>All dogs that stay with us must be up to date on vaccinations, completed our orientation (the initial Meet &amp; Greet day and 2 additional daycare days within 7 days of the Meet &amp; Greet), be free of fleas, ticks, and any contagious diseases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We highly recommend additional daycare days after the 3-day Orientation\/Meet &amp; Greet expedite acclimation to the daycare environment. Consistent attendance ensures your pup remains happy and comfortable, recognizing Dogtopia as a safe and enjoyable temporary home.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re seeing a boarding facility for occasional use, perhaps once or twice a year, our services might not align with your needs. Ensuring your pup\u2019s comfort is a priority for us, and extended periods away from our facility can make it challenging for them to view it as a temporary stay. To maintain familiarity and ease their visit we kindly request at least one day of play before boarding for dogs who haven\u2019t been in within the last 60 days. Additionally, if there has been no attendance over a 6-month period, we will ask your pup to go through our 3-day Orientation once again. This process helps them re-acclimate to the play environment, ensuring a positive and stress-free experience during their stay.<\/p>\n<h2>WHAT TO BRING<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\">Boarding drop-off starts at 2:00PM and ends at 12:00N the following day<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">A half-day of daycare is applicable for drop-offs before or pickups after these times.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Boarders need to be dropped off by 5:00PM on the day of boarding unless pre-approved in advance.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Pre-bag your meals with one bag per meal to avoid additional charges.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">If you choose not to pre-bag, a $5 prep charge applies for four days or less, and $10 for more than four days.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Feel free to bring in chew toys, stuffed animals and blankets no larger than 4\u2019x5\u2019. However, we no longer accept beds for boarding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dog boarding starts with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dogtopia.com\/edmond\/new-pet-parent-info\/\">Meet &amp; Greet<\/a> so we can make sure that your dog is comfortable in open play. Our home-style crates in-room is where they will eat, nap, and sleep. The rest of the day they get to play with their furry friends. Home-style crates give them the comfort of their own space with their things. After a full day of play, they are ready for a long rest. What&#8217;s better than a sleepover with a few of their BFFF&#8217;s (Best Furry Friends Forever)? Whether it&#8217;s for one night or several nights we&#8217;ll make sure that your dog is lovingly cared for while they are boarding and that they are pampered and played with.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, we try to make sure that you get all your bedding\/toys\/food at departure but sometimes things get missed. We always call if there are items left behind since we have limited storage available. We can only hold items for 7 days from the date of your departure and then after that we will donate or throw away any remaining items.<\/p>\n<h2>Webcams<\/h2>\n<p>Checking up on them while they are boarding is a must so we have high-resolution Nest cameras in every playroom and outside so that you can see what your dog(s) are up to any time they are in open-play (7A-7P every day except 12N-2P when they nap).<\/p>\n<h2>Bathing<\/h2>\n<p>For health reasons, we do require that your dog has a quick bath if they stay more than 4 consecutive days. It just allows us to get off all the residue from other dogs that your pup has interacted with during their playtime. Of course, we do offer baths on pickup days, just let us know what you&#8217;d like and when you plan to pick up and we can get you scheduled.<\/p>\n<h2>Feeding<\/h2>\n<p>We also maintain meticulous records of whether your dog is eating their full meal each time they are fed. We also will alert you and work with you if we find that your pup isn&#8217;t eating. We can introduce other foods into their diet (e.g. broth, pumpkin, etc.) to help encourage regular eating.<\/p>\n<h2>Suites<\/h2>\n<p>Suites are available if you have multiple dogs and want them to sleep together or you just want your pup to have a little more space. Suites are very limited and fill up fast.<\/p>\n<h2>Discounts<\/h2>\n<p>Discounts are also available for consecutive stays longer than 5 nights.<\/p>\n<h2>pick-up and drop-off times<\/h2>\n<p>We are requiring reservations through the app, over the phone, and in-person to provide estimated pick-up and drop-off times. This is important so that we are able to accommodate as many pups as we can each day since many of you utilize our half-day passes. Clients must provide an estimated pick-up and drop-off time. If you anticipate that you will be later or earlier than 30 minutes you need to call since we may need to remove your pup from play to keep the rooms at a manageable level if you are more than 15 minutes past your scheduled pickup time.<\/p>\n<h2>deposits and cancellations<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Holidays &#8211; We do require a non-refundable 20% deposit for boarding over high-volume holidays. Currently, Easter, Spring Break, 4th of July, Fall Break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are the dates we require a deposit. If you cancel 5 days before your scheduled drop-off we&#8217;ll credit 100% of the deposit to your account. if you cancel 2-4 days before your scheduled drop-off we&#8217;ll credit 50% of the deposit back to your account. We won&#8217;t refund any deposit if there is no notification of cancellation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Non-Holidays &#8211; If you cancel 48 hours in advance of your boarding there is no charge.
