Our brand new facility, which just opened in 2017, features 5,000 square feet of indoor space and 1,500 square feet of an outdoor play area. During the day, we separate our dogs into different playrooms based on their size and temperament. Each playroom features rubberized flooring that is specially designed to be gentle on dogs\u2019 paws and joints, a medical-grade HVAC system that constantly refreshes the air, and HD webcams<\/a> that allow you to check on your pup throughout the day. Our playrooms are deep-cleaned twice a day with pet-friendly, enzyme-based cleaning products.<\/p>\n

In order to attend day camp or board with us at Dogtopia, we require that all canine guests be up-to-date on their vaccinations. Following a proper vaccination schedule will ensure that each pet that stays with us stays healthy and happy!<\/p>\n

- DHPP:<\/strong> Dogs are susceptible to a wide variety of health conditions, many of which they encounter just by spending time outdoors. The DHPP vaccine is one of the first, and most important, vaccines that a dog will receive. It protects your dog against canine distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. Due to the fact that some of these infections are deadly, it\u2019s imperative that your puppy or adult dog be kept up-to-date on this vaccine and its boosters throughout his or her life.<\/li>\n
- Bordatella:<\/strong> The most common form of canine respiratory infection, bordetella is more commonly known as \u201ckennel cough.\u201d It can be distinguished by a loud, honking cough and is extremely contagious among dogs, so any dog that spends time in our facility is required to be up-to-date on this vaccine in order to protect everyone.<\/li>\n
- Rabies:<\/strong> A viral disease that causes inflammation of the brain, rabies can be extremely deadly and contagious if your dog is not protected. Once symptoms appear, the results are often dangerous. Be proactive and keep your dog protected by keeping it current with its rabies vaccine.<\/li>\n
- K9 Influenza:<\/strong> Like human forms of influenza, dog flu is airborne. Respiratory secretions escape into the environment in the form of coughing, barking, and sneezing, where they are then inhaled by a new canine host. The dog flu also spreads through contaminated objects and environments, like water bowls, collars, and kennel surfaces, or through contact with people who have had direct contact with an infected dog.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
If you\u2019re not sure that your dog is up-to-date on its vaccines, consult your vet. We will require documentation proving vaccination dates when you first bring your dog to see us.<\/p>\n
