Here at Dogtopia of Lexington South, we strive to make our facility feel like a home-away-from home for your dog. As much as you may want to be with your pup at all times, it\u2019s not always possible. That\u2019s why we\u2019re pleased to offer the next best thing. Whether you\u2019re out of town for a night or a week, we will make your dog feel as comfortable as if they are sleeping in their own bed.<\/p>\n

Days of Play<\/h2>\n

When looking for a place to board your dog, it\u2019s important to consider their entire stay, not just their overnights. Boarding dogs at Dogtopia of Lexington South enjoy full days of play and exercise with our daycare dogs. Our guests enjoy open play 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the exception of a two-hour break from noon till 2:00 p.m. During that time, the pups are crated for a nap.<\/p>\n

We separate our dogs into three different playrooms based on size and temperament, and our trained Canine Coaches guide them through exercises that focus on instilling good behaviour and socialization skills. You can check in on your pup throughout the day with our HD webcams<\/a>, which are available in all of our playrooms.<\/p>\n

Restful Nights<\/h2>\n

By the end of a full day of open play, your pup will have spent all their pent-up energy and be ready for bed. We provide crate boarding, suite and executive suites.\u00a0 To make your dog\u2019s stay as comfortable as possible, we recommend bringing bedding and a soft toy that reminds them of home. You can also bring their food to maintain their regular diet, but we do provide quality food without fillers when needed.<\/p>\n

It is our mission to provide dogs with a safe and fun environment.\u00a0 We ask that you bring your dog to our location first so our team can conduct a personal meet and greet<\/a> with your dog and get to know them to determine if they are the right fit for our open play environment. We also require that any dogs that stay with us have up-to-date vaccinations and be free of fleas, ticks and any contagious diseases.<\/p>\n
