WHAT SETS OUR DOG BOARDING APART?<\/h2>\n

Dogtopia of McKinney is not just a place for your pup to sleep. Dogtopia is very much like a staycation for your dog as our boarding dogs also get to enjoy fun-filled days of play and exercise with our daycare dogs. We do not have kennel runs; instead our boarding dogs enjoy full use of our open-play, off-leash environment. After hours of play and socialization, they will rest soundly in a place they know and trust. When your pup turns in for the night, they will be tired, but very happy. Best of all, they will have made new BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever)!<\/p>\n

Dogtopia of McKinney\u2019s dog care professionals will take every step to ensure that your dog is happy, healthy and comfortable during their stay. Feel free to bring your dog\u2019s bedding to make them feel at home. We also encourage you to bring your dog\u2019s regular food to help them feel right at home and if they are taking non-injectable medicine, we will administer it according to your instructions. If needed, we always have available our high quality food at no additional charge. We\u2019ll make sure your pup stays on their routine while you\u2019re away.<\/p>\n

Most of our overnight doggie guests sleep comfortably in our home-style crates, while others enjoy the homey environment of one of our 9 spacious boarding suites, perfect for dogs who require more \u201cme\u201d time or who want to stay with their siblings at night.<\/p>\n

Pet parents are encouraged to bring their pup\u2019s favorite bedding so they can curl up with something familiar when sleeping. This will help with any separation anxiety and provide your pup with the comfort they need to have a peaceful rest.<\/p>\n

When you\u2019re out of town, we know you will want to check in and see how you\u2019re dog is doing \u2013 that\u2019s why we offer live webcam access so you can check in on<\/a> your dog during the day using a desktop or by downloading our mobile app, available on both Apple and Android devices<\/p>\n

SUPERVISED SAFETY<\/h2>\n

We are dedicated to keeping your dog safe and happy. Before you book your dog\u2019s boarding stay, please bring them to Dogtopia of McKinney so our caring team can conduct a personal meet and greet<\/a> for your dog and determine if they are the right fit<\/a> for our open-play, off-leash environment.<\/p>\n

All dogs that stay with us must be up to date on vaccinations and be free of fleas, ticks and any contagious diseases. If you have a puppy, your puppy must be at least three months old and current on required vaccinations. We require that all dogs seven months and older are spayed or neutered<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If your dog is boarding with us for the first time and is not a Dogtopia daycare dog, we require at least three days of daycare<\/a> prior to your boarding stay. This allows your dog to get familiar with the playroom, the other dogs, the staff and most importantly, lets her know you are coming back to pick her up and that Dogtopia is a fun, temporary place to stay!\u00a0 Also if your pup has previous boarded or been to daycare, but has not been to daycare or boarded with us in the past 6 months, we require one full day of daycare prior to your boarding stay to ensure your pup gets refamiliar with the daycare<\/a> routine<\/a> and new dogs.<\/p>\n

UPGRADE YOUR PUP\u2019S STAY WITH A SPA TREATMENT<\/h2>\n

When your dog is staying with us, why not pamper them? We offer spa packages<\/a> that can be incorporated into your dog\u2019s boarding stay. Your pampered pup will be clean, clipped and groomed when you pick them up. You can also book separate spa<\/a> appointments.<\/p>\n

Beyond baths, we also offer treatments<\/a> such as teeth brushing, nail trimming and ear cleaning. What about a Blueberry facial and Cucumber paw soak?
