Ryean Morrison, Operating Partner

Ryean Morrison’s lifelong passion for animals started as a young child working on her family’s horse farm. This enthusiasm turned to a profession after graduating from university, when she begun working for various companies in exotic pets. At home, Ryean has a menagerie of 7 pets. Although Ryean has worked with everything from caymans to cats; dogs are by far, her favorite animal. She has three dogs, Stella the husky rottweiler mix, Millie the german shepherd mix and Kora the Dachshund mix. Developing confident well socialized dogs, helping pet parents through their first steps with new rescues and contributing to the overall enrichment of dog’s lives are just some of the reasons Ryean loves working for Dogtopia.

Krista Reddecopp, Store Manager

I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember – it is my #1 personality trait. Growing up in a family that didn’t like pets, I spent as much time with the dogs of friends and family as I could, even offering to bathe and walk them. I spent hours and hours on the internet and reading books, learning anything and everything I could about dogs and even recording information in my Dog Journal so that I could one day be the best dog owner possible.I spent some time volunteering at a dog rescue, where I met my bonded pair, Leon and Miri. They settled in with my cats, Simba and Oliver, and were the last pieces needed to complete my little family.I am always trying to learn more about dogs. Rescue, behaviour, training, nutrition, welfare enrichment; if it has anything to do with dogs, I’m into it. As an artist, I also like drawing and painting dogs. My shower curtain has dogs on it. Actually, loving dogs might be my only personality trait.

Hope Kuhn, Operations Manager

My passion for dogs started in my childhood, growing up with a strong-willed Siberian Husky! I now have Ripley a husky mix and a cat named Maya. I started with Dogtopia in 2022 as a canine coach. I love playing training games with the dogs and giving them lots of cuddles!

Lauryn Leonard, Pet Parent Relationship Manager

My passion for animals started in childhood as I grew up with a pack of Dachshunds. Throughout the years, I was obsessed with taking pictures of and setting up photoshoots for the pups. I started my animal care career in 2018 when I decided to take a Canine Specialist course and change my career path from working with children to working with dogs. I’ve been working in doggie daycare ever since, and now I get to plan special events and set up photoshoots for the dogs I work with!
