Hi there ! I\u2019m Lisa Taylor, a Fear Free Certified Groomer and proud graduate of the Conestoga College Pet Grooming program. I had the privilege of being taught by Jessica Daltrey, a highly respected member of the grooming community and Groom Team Canada competitor, whose mentorship helped shape my approach to compassionate, quality grooming.<\/p>\n
With over 12 years of experience in the animal care and veterinary industry, I understand that grooming is about so much more than appearance \u2014 it\u2019s about trust, comfort, health, and overall wellbeing. I am passionate about creating a calm, patient, and inviting environment where pets feel safe and supported throughout the grooming process.<\/p>\n
I have a special interest in working with pets who experience fear, anxiety, or behavioural challenges during grooming. Using slow, gentle handling techniques and fear-free practices, I help pets build confidence and positive experiences at their own pace.<\/p>\n
I especially enjoy rescue grooming work, matted makeovers, breed standard trims, and creative colour transformations. I love helping pets not only look their best, but feel their best too. As I continue growing in the grooming industry, I hope to one day step into the competitive show grooming ring and further expand my skills and creativity<\/p>\n
Animals have always been at the center of my life, both professionally and personally. My own furry and feathered family includes a rescue dog from Puerto Rico, three cats, a potbelly pig, an Amazon parrot, a rabbit, and several lizards and frogs! Caring for such a wide variety of animals has deepened my understanding of the unique personalities and needs every pet brings..<\/p>\n
