We’re on the hunt for an energetic, organized, and friendly dog-lover to join our team at Dogtopia of Redmond as Receptionist. This role will work under our General Manager and collaborate closely with our Operations Manager to help keep Dogtopia running smoothly.

Though front desk or customer service experience is a plus, entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. We will happily train the right person: a sunny disposition, a quick study, and an eagerness to learn go a lot farther than where you’ve worked or how fast you can type.

Our new Receptionist will have the following qualifications:

  • Meticulous organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Capability of quickly learning POS and CRM software
  • Consistent and timely attendance
  • A friendly, cheery attitude
  • A willingness to work hard, improve, and pitch in for the team
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, order, and grace in an exceptionally fast-paced environment
  • A genuine love of dogs—an absolute necessity!!

This part-time position will work afternoons and weekends, approximately 28 hours a week, and includes a matched 401(k) plan (yes, even for part-timers). For the right person, there is a path to grow into higher positions within the organization.

Our new Receptionist will do all of the following:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our pet parents, via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Check dogs in and out of daycare and boarding.
  • Assist with maintaining reservations and billing.
  • Assist team members with bringing dogs in and out of daycare.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Communicate candidly, respectfully, and honestly with everyone in our Dogtopia family: team members, owners, support office, vendors, and pet parents alike.
  • Exhibit a growth mindset and a desire to learn, improve, and take joy in the work.
  • Uphold our company values.

At Dogtopia, the rules by which we live are called Dogtopia-isms:

  • We LOVE life unconditionally like a dog.
  • We STAY loyal to our pack.
  • We CHASE the absolute highest standards of safety.
  • We PLAY to our fullest potential.
  • We TREAT every day like It’s the Most Exciting Day Ever!

To apply, please send a cover letter and resume. Please note that applications without a cover letter will not be reviewed.
