Our brand-new, 5904 sq ft. indoor facility offers 65% playroom sq footage, so each pup has plenty of room to run and play in a climate-controlled environment, rain or shine. We also offer 1000 sq ft. of outdoor play space, so on weather-cooperative days, our pups can soak up some sunlight. Our daycare dogs will enjoy up to 10 hours of play a day, and to ensure maximum comfort, we separate them based on their size, temperament, and playstyle into our three spacious playrooms (the City, the Park, and the Beach). That way, they can hang out with like-minded friends under the direct supervision of our certified Canine Coaches.<\/p>\n
We provide pet parents with half-day or full-day daycare options, as well as overnight boarding<\/a> packages that provide your pup with a mini staycation while you\u2019re away. If your dog needs a spa day, we also offer spa services<\/a> as a part of our daycare and boarding packages. When you pick up your perfectly happy and played-out pup at the end of the day, they\u2019ll look and smell like a million bones.<\/p>\n Our services include:<\/p>\n Safety is a top priority at Dogtopia of south Ann Arbor, which is why we have taken every precaution possible when designing our facility. From the ground your pup walks on to the air they breathe, we\u2019ve made sure your furry family member will be as comfortable as possible.<\/p>\n Each of our playrooms uses climate-controlling HVAC systems to prevent overheating, and keep the air fresh and clean. We also deep clean and sanitize each playroom multiple times a day with a pet-friendly, biologically safe cleaner, as well as use a spot cleaner frequently. The compressed rubber flooring we use in each playroom also helps to keep things sanitary, and its cushioned surface aids in the long-term joint and paw health of your pup.<\/p>\n To ensure the safety of our furry friends, our certified Canine Coaches supervise each playroom and are trained to identify different behaviors and signals from our pups to make sure none are stressed or uncomfortable. Within their rigorous training, our Coaches learn how to recognize even the most subtle of dog body language, and can effectively handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Along with the team members who are in the room, there is additional staff monitoring our playroom cameras.<\/p>\n We also offer our pet parents the chance to check in on their pup with our webcams, which you can privately access through our website or the free Dogtopia app on your smartphone. When you can\u2019t be with them, our webcams of the indoor playrooms and outdoor yard act as a great alternative. There is a large parking lot on the southside of Meijer that our pet parents can use.
