Dogtopia of West Frisco<\/a> is your pup\u2019s home away from home! Whether you\u2019re looking for overnight dog boarding or an extended stay \u2014 like a family vacation or work trip \u2014 we\u2019ll take great care of your fur baby.<\/p>\n

In fact, our doggie guests enjoy their stays so much that many pet parents use our dog boarding services to boost their dog\u2019s confidence & decrease separation anxiety. Think of it like a sleepover, during which your furry family member can enjoy playtime with their friends during the day and have a restful sleep at night.<\/p>\n

What Can You Expect from Our Dog Boarding Services?<\/h2>\n

While your dog is boarding with us, they\u2019re given an opportunity to potty and eat before the other daycare doggies arrive at 7 a.m. Then, they\u2019ll play on the same schedule as their daycare friends until 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

From 12-2 p.m., they\u2019ll enjoy a two-hour nap and lunch break, during which they\u2019ll chill in individual home-style crates. This break gives the dogs a rest, and allows the staff time to clean the playrooms to maintain our high safety and sanitation standards.<\/p>\n

Our expert team organizes several activities for your pup to enjoy throughout the day. From agility-focused exercises that promote physical activity to mind-stimulating brain games that strengthen their problem-solving skills, your pup will have the Most Exciting Day Ever!<\/p>\n

The First Step: Our Meet & Greet<\/h3>\n

We recommend all dogs in our facility first attend at least three days of our dog daycare service<\/a>. This helps familiarize them with our environment and being around other dogs.<\/p>\n

It will also teach them that we\u2019re a comforting space where they can be their best doggie selves. Plus, they\u2019ll learn that you will always return to pick them up.<\/p>\n

Before your pup can attend any of our services, they must pass our Meet & Greet evaluation. This is a chance for us to get to know you and your furry companion and ensure that our environment meshes well with your pup.<\/p>\n

If we determine your pup is a good fit, we can begin the steps for daycare and, eventually, dog boarding services. However, if we think more time is necessary for your pup to feel comfortable, we strongly encourage you to return in the future to try again!<\/p>\n

Sit, Smile, and Say Chewtoy!<\/h3>\n

We also have occasional doggie photoshoots with themed backdrops and outfits that are sure to put a smile on pups and pet parents alike!<\/p>\n

We also have craft days to flex our pups\u2019 creative muscles, bubble parties during which we blow bacon- and peanut butter-flavored bubbles around our playrooms, and tasty treat days with themed snacks.<\/p>\n

Many of our pet parents opt for some of our dog spa<\/a> treatments so their pups will feel fresh and pampered before being picked up. We offer a range of hygiene services, from baths to nail trims and more, and only use modern tools and natural products that are safe on all dogs.<\/p>\n

How Does Overnight Dog Boarding Work?<\/h3>\n

With our dog boarding services, your pup will enjoy all the benefits of a premier dog daycare experience, including exercise, socialization, and education. We allow your fur baby to enjoy an off-leash, open play environment and a mid-day nap, which sets us apart from our competitors.<\/p>\n

Rather than having dogs spend most of their day crated (like you see at other dog facilities), we prioritize playtime and freedom for your pup in a safe, supervised, and secure space. For overnight stays, your doggie will sleep in a home-style crate in a designated playroom along BFFFs who share their size, temperament, and play style.<\/p>\n

Since dogs are pack animals, they feel comfortable staying near their friends. However, we also offer four private suites, which might be ideal for large breeds or sibling dogs who prefer to stick together.<\/p>\n

What Can Your Dog Expect in the Evening?<\/h3>\n

Once playtime comes to an end, your dog is fed, given time to digest, let out one more time to potty, and then lovingly put to bed in an individual crate or suite. Our overnight guests can either bring their own food or indulge in the high-quality dog food that\u2019s included in their overnight stay.<\/p>\n

Bringing food from home can allow your pup to remain on a consistent diet, which we\u2019ll monitor closely per your directions. We also offer special treats like protein bowls, turkey meatballs, and holiday-themed goodies.<\/p>\n

Qualified Canine Coaches<\/h3>\n

With our dog boarding services, your furry companion is in safe, qualified hands. Expertly trained in dog body language and behavior, our Canine Coaches keep a close eye on our guests throughout the day.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll encourage your pup to play, socialize, learn, exercise, and enjoy their day at daycare. By night, they offer extra cuddles before your pup drifts off to dreamland.<\/p>\n

When you come back to pick up your pup after their stay, our Coaches will let you know how it went. They\u2019ll provide that \u201cfly on the wall\u201d perspective that many pet parents always wish they could have when they\u2019re away from their dog.<\/p>\n

Specially Trained & Experienced<\/h4>\n

To become a Canine Coach at Dogtopia, they must complete a four-part custom curriculum that includes updated information on safely interacting with large groups of dogs of any size, breed, and temperament.<\/p>\n

This up-to-date material is approved as continuing education credits by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.<\/p>\n

Access Livestreams of Our Dog Playrooms<\/h3>\n

Our livestreams are a great way for you to check in on your pup during their boarding stay. Whether they\u2019re with us overnight or for an extended stay, our webcams will show that your pup is enjoying their time.<\/p>\n

During playtime hours (which excludes lunch, nap time, and overnight), you can access your livestream on the Dogtopia app or website, which is only available to pet parents with a pup at our facility. It\u2019ll be the cutest thing you see all day!<\/p>\n

The Perfect Playrooms for Doggies of Any Size<\/h2>\n

Our state-of-the-art 6,000 sq. ft. facility is home to four large playrooms: Gym, Romper, Toybox, and Wee. Why do we separate dogs? We want each dog member of our Dogtopia Family to feel comfortable and free to interact and play.<\/p>\n

If their playmate were three times larger and more energetic, for example, they might not feel as relaxed or willing to engage. When we group dogs based on their size, temperament, and playstyle, they all share the same playtime vibe and eye level!<\/p>\n
