This ensures that every dog can be their best doggie selves with like-minded pals.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also a surefire way for them to make BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever)! Our 6,000 sq. ft. facility features four spacious indoor playrooms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wee<\/strong>: This is for little dogs who prefer playing with pups their own size. It\u2019s a great space for puppies to safely learn the ropes of playing, learning, and socializing while they\u2019re still small.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Toy<\/strong>: Smaller breeds of all ages thrive in this space, as it means they\u2019re not playing in the shadows of larger dogs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gym<\/strong>: Our big dogs have the room to run and play with other large breeds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Romper<\/strong>: Pups with energetic playtime energy who fall in between the other levels can interact with other dogs who match their vibe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>BOARDING FOR PUPPIES OF ALL AGES<\/h3>\n<p>For dogs who need a home-away-from-home, our overnight dog boarding service is the perfect way for them to enjoy a fun day with friends PLUS a sleepover where they\u2019ll rest safely and peacefully in our care.<\/p>\n<p>As pack animals, dogs feel more comfortable when near other dogs, so we provide spacious home-style crates in their playroom for them to sleep in alongside their BFFFs.<\/p>\n<p>We also offer four private suites, ideal for larger dogs or siblings who prefer to stay together.<\/p>\n<h3>DOG SPA SERVICES<\/h3>\n<p>Our spa services offer total pampering and hygiene care. Under the expert care of our spa team, your dog can feel at ease during their bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, and more \u2014 it\u2019s the ultimate in doggie self-care!<\/p>\n<h2>WHAT\u2019S A DAY LIKE AT DOGTOPIA OF WEST FRISCO?<\/h2>\n<p>Pet parents want to know what their dog will be up to during their day. Well, let\u2019s just say there is a lot of tail-wagging going on!<\/p>\n<p>When you log into our playroom webcams, you\u2019ll see them start their day with the morning crowd of like-minded furry friends. During this time, they\u2019ll have the freedom to run around their playroom and enjoy our secure ramps &amp; slide play structures.<\/p>\n<p>Our team also provides agility equipment for pups to work on their paw-eye coordination with games that make physical exercise fun. Did you know Dogtopia dogs average a minimum of 30,000 steps in a day, compared to the 8,000 steps dogs at home typically get? You\u2019ll have the fittest dog on the block!<\/p>\n<h3>ENTERTAINMENT &amp; ENRICHMENT THAT YOUR PUP WILL LOVE<\/h3>\n<p>We hold:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frequent photoshoots with props and costumes that make for wallpaper-worthy pictures.<\/li>\n<li>Arts &amp; Crafts Days to unleash your pups\u2019 inner artists.<\/li>\n<li>Themed Treat Days that are the cherry on top of an exciting day.<\/li>\n<li>Bubble parties with bacon- and peanut butter-flavored bubbles that dogs love to chase (and taste) around the room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>A DAY AT DOGGIE DAYCARE<\/h3>\n<p>To ensure each dog receives adequate rest, we schedule naptime at noon, when pups recharge their playtime batteries. Then, they\u2019ll head over to their own individual crate in that same playroom to take advantage of the familiarity they just developed in their environment.<\/p>\n<p>Before napping, they\u2019ll chow down on lunch. This can be brought from home, or one of our meal options, such as our delicious protein bowls, high-quality house dog food (also included in dogs\u2019 overnight stay), and more.<\/p>\n<p>When 2 p.m. rolls around, they\u2019re back to playing, learning, and enjoying all the fun our daycare has to offer until their pet parents arrive to pick them up. Overnight guests keep playing as we prepare their dinner.<\/p>\n<h2>DOG DAYCARE PLAYROOM DESIGN AND CLEANLINESS<\/h2>\n<p>Our pups remain off-leash and only spend naptime &amp; breaks in their crate. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve implemented several safety and comfort considerations during construction that make for a more secure, inviting, and beneficial space.<\/p>\n<p>These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Floor-to-Ceiling Walls<\/strong>: Instead of flimsy dividers in one large space (as you might see at other doggie daycares), we made sure each playroom is exactly that \u2014 a room. The walls are also soundproof, which limits distraction.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compressed Rubber Flooring<\/strong>: Playing all day on paws without comfort can be rough! So we used flooring that\u2019s made from a compressed rubber material that\u2019s comfortable on paw pads, promotes hip and joint health, and is non-absorbing and easy to clean.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Double-Barrier Doors<\/strong>: No escape artists here! On top of the supervision from our team, we constructed double-barrier doors to each playroom so there\u2019s always a secure space between the playroom and the hallway.<\/li>\n<li><strong>UV-Filtered HVAC Systems<\/strong>: To keep the air clean and odor-free, we equipped HVAC systems in each playroom that filter in fresh air. We\u2019re also able to climate-control our playrooms, so no matter the forecasted weather, they maintain a comfortable playtime temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Maintaining a clean environment is important to us. We perform a deep clean twice daily, one of which is during naptime, so all playroom surfaces are sanitized and safe for our pups to resume play.<\/p>\n<p>We closely follow the guidelines set by Dogtopia\u2019s very own Environmental Biologist and Veterinary Scientist. And we use pet-safe cleaning products (including a pet-safe bio-enzymatic spot cleaner) so your dog is never exposed to any harsh chemicals.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1652 size-full alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-prod.dogtopia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/154\/2021\/02\/heroes-for-healthy-pets-logo.png\" alt=\"Heroes for healthy pets\" width=\"267\" height=\"179\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dogtopia of West Frisco has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets\u2122 facility. Our Coaches undergo a rigorous, four-part training program to equip them with the skills to manage large groups of dogs, regardless of sizes or breeds.<\/p>\n<p>They can also \u201cread the room\u201d effectively to detect subtle changes in our dogs\u2019 body language quickly. This enables them to prevent any unwanted behavior before it develops. Additionally, they can identify dogs who need a break or who may require assistance socializing with their playmates.<\/p>\n<p>The training curriculum all our Coaches must pass has been approved for continuing education credits by both the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. This ensures that our team is up-to-date with the latest practices and techniques in dog behavior and wellness.<\/p>\n<h3>WE COMMUNICATE LIKE A PACK<\/h3>\n<p>We recognize it can be difficult for some pet parents to be away from their pup, but rest assured that our team knows how to interact with dogs. Being dog lovers themselves, they\u2019ll treat your pup like their own.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure proper communication with all our pet parents, we provide periodic report cards that offer valuable insights into your dog\u2019s day. Frequent attendance enables our team to develop a deeper understanding of each dog\u2019s personality and behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, this leads to even more detailed reports. We\u2019ll even provide helpful tips that can extend our care to outside of our premier dog daycare!<\/p>\n<h2>LIVE, HD PLAYROOM WEBCAMS<\/h2>\n<p>Spending time away from your pup is like a child going to school \u2014 it can be tough at first, but the more they do it, the more comfortable it becomes.<\/p>\n<p>To reduce separation anxiety, we\u2019ve equipped webcams in each playroom that livestream HD video footage during play hours. You can join the fun virtually from wherever you are via Dogtopia\u2019s free mobile app and\/or website.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that we disconnect the livestreams from 12 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. so that the pups can rest and enjoy lunch privately. Since this is also when our team performs a playroom deep clean, you won\u2019t miss out on any tail-wagging fun!<\/p>\n<h2>MEET &amp; GREET EVALUATION<\/h2>\n<p>We want to ensure that your pup will enjoy their time in our care. A Meet &amp; Greet Evaluation is a safety precaution that enables us to determine if our daycare is the right fit for your dog.<\/p>\n<p>While \u201cevaluation\u201d might seem daunting, it\u2019s just a chance to meet you and your pup to confirm that your furry family member will benefit from our space. It takes about 20-30 minutes and can be broken down into three categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Health History Overview<\/strong>: Keeping our facility safe and healthy is important. Our team of evaluators will conduct a thorough review of your dog\u2019s health history and perform a comprehensive nose-to-tail examination. If your pup has any sensitivities to touch, we\u2019ll mark it down so we can remember it for the future when our team interacts with them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A Daycare Reenactment<\/strong>: Our team will create a mini play space with a couple of other dogs that match their size and play style to observe how they interact. Safe socialization is our top priority, so we\u2019ll look for any signs that may indicate potential concerns in that area.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Crate Test<\/strong>: Since our playroom crates are used for napping and, potentially, sleeping overnight, we\u2019ll see how they respond to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Throughout this time, our team will give you a tour of our facility and answer any questions you may have about any of our services. If you feel content in our space, your pup will pick up on it.<\/p>\n<p>Once the evaluation is complete, we\u2019ll let you know if your pup is given the green light. If so, your dog can book an immediate daycare visit.<\/p>\n<p>However, if we think more time is required for them to feel comfortable in our space, we\u2019ll communicate that to you and recommend you try again later. We also have mandatory guidelines that apply to all Dogtopia locations.<\/p>\n<p>While all breeds of dogs are welcome, they must be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12 weeks of age and older.<\/li>\n<li>Spayed or neutered at 7 months and older.<\/li>\n<li>Up to date with their vaccines, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Rabies<\/li>\n<li>Bordetella<\/li>\n<li>DHLPP\/DHPP (also known as \u201cdistemper\/parvo\u201d)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Free of any communicable illness for the past 30 days (e.g. fleas, ticks, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>FIND US ON THE BORDER OF WEST FRISCO AND LITTLE ELM<\/h2>\n<p>We can\u2019t wait to meet you and your furry companion!
