Meet the Team
Daryl, Owner
Daryl has lived in Tulsa since 1997 and loves how much the city has grown and how much Tulsans love their dogs! His two dogs, Addie and Poet, are a huge part of what brings joy to his life. They are both mixed breeds and were adopted by Daryl and his husband, Andrew.
Prior to launching Dogtopia of South Tulsa, Daryl was a senior principal in an architecture firm. For his 2nd career, he wanted to devote his energies to a business focused on dogs. Dogtopia’s philosophy aligns with his values and vision for a safe, clean, fun, and innovative dog daycare. Through this business, he’s excited to help contribute towards the work of the Dogtopia Foundation, which funds programs focused on three worthy causes: Service Dogs for Veterans, Youth Literacy Programs, and Employment Initiatives for Adults with Autism.
Mandy Hinds, General Manager
Being from the wide open spaces of Oklahoma, Mandy developed a love for scenery, travel, adventure and animals….but especially dogs!!! Being a dog-mom of two, currently, and another very special good boy named Spike for 15 years, she was so happy when she discovered Dogtopia and the Dogtopia Foundation. When she’s not loving all of our Dogtopia dogs, Mandy can be found at little dirt racetracks across the USA, coordinating flattrack motorcycle races.
