Meet the Team
Michel, General Manager
Michel has spent over a decade managing hotels and has worked with shelter dogs and adoption agencies since childhood. Now he brings that background to help make your dog’s day the best day ever! Blake, pictured with Michel, is one of Downtown DC’s regular Gym dogs.
Imoni, AGM and Safety Officer
Imoni is pictured with Axel. She has a passion for working with dogs. She loves getting to know the dogs and spending time with them; along with keeping them safe and healthy. Imoni ensures all safety precautions are taken care of throughout the building on a regular basis, and helps train and keep our pups happy and safe.
Nayra F., Playroom Manager and Safety Officer
Nayra, with gym-regular Roscoe, has worked with dogs since 2013 through daycares, grooming, volunteering and dog walking ventures. She’s gotten the chance to meet dogs of all size from the largest to the smallest. Certified as a dog trainer through Animal Behavior College, she utilizes her experience and knowledge at Dogtopia to promote a safe daycare environment where dogs have the Most Exciting Day Ever!
Katie C., Lead Pet Parent Coordinator and Foundation Ambassador
This is Katie and her adorable pup Angel! Katie grew up always having 4 or more dogs; she was basically born into a dog pack! Katie, as Foundation Ambassador, promotes events at Dogtopia to help sponsor service dogs in-training for veterans. She is always driving us towards our goal of enabling dogs to positively change our world.
