The staff were great! I really appreciated their approach to making sure my dog was comfortable with them and the other dogs before letting her go in the play area. I felt very welcomed in the facility and confident leaving my dog with the great staff. The separation of dogs by temperament and size allowed my dog to feel more confident there and she had a great visit! I also like that there is an array of services they offer at the facility if I need them.

I’ve always said, I don’t care about the staff’s personal appearance choices, I care that they are focused on the pets and have their best interest at heart.
It’s anecdotal, but of the 8+ boarding/daycare facilities we’ve used in NS and AB over the past 11+ years, the staff with the most color/tattoos/piercings also seem to be the most dedicated and have the strongest bond/trust with the pets.
We do greatly appreciate the report cards when there is time – hand written or typed as an email.
While on vacation, we love that we can sign on to watch the live video.
Getting downtown can be a challenge some days, but there is no where else in Halifax we’d rather take our dog.

Great attitude with a positive development atmosphere for my Golden Soleil. She is so excited when she comes into Dogtopia and leaves with such a smile. She loves every minute. I strongly recommend Dogtopia and thank the management and staff for giving my pup such a great learning environment to learn and thrive.

The team at Dogtopia is so warm and welcoming. Miles can be intimidated by other dogs and shy away, after just a few visits he is already starting to come out of his shell and enjoys playing with others so much more! The team is so engaging, caring, and fun, his days there are an experience he and I both look forward to.
