WHAT CAN MY DOG EXPECT DURING DAYCARE AT Dogtopia of Fishers?

When you bring your dog to our off-leash, open-play facility and they step their paw into one of our safe, spacious playrooms, they’re in for a fun, healthy adventure! Here’s how we break up the day:

MORNING

They’ll start the day by burning off all that energy they built up overnight, as they greet their friends, explore the area, play on our secure slides and ramps, and participate in fun activities that keep them active and having fun. Our Canine Coaches are right there to supervise and actively engage with each pup, helping them to break the ice and interact safely.

MID-DAY

With all that playtime comes hungry bellies! We serve daycare dogs lunch that you can bring with you when you drop them off, or you can ask our team about the options we offer in-house. Then it’s naptime, so pups can recharge their energy, though we also offer plenty of breaks throughout the day if needed. They’ll stay in the same playroom they started the day in to maintain safety and promote familiarity.

UNTIL PICK-UP

Feeling re-energized, pups return to play in the afternoon. Our team organizes agility exercises and brain games, bubble parties with dog-safe flavored bubbles, photoshoots with adorable themes that are worthy of your next lock screen photo, fun activities, and so much more.

By the time you return to our facility for pick-up, your pup will be happily played out and ready to drift off to dreamland (a phenomenon we call the Dogtopia Daze).

We offer webcams with livestreams that you can access throughout the day to catch all their playtime fun. We also offer DASH wearable fitness monitors to track their steps taken, distance travelled, naps, and more. Keep tabs on your pup via our user-friendly app or website, which also lets you easily book daycare, boarding, and spa appointments.

SKILLED CANINE COACHES

When you think of daycare, you might expect a place where your dog will merely be supervised for the day, but at Dogtopia of Fishers, we offer so much more. Our caring team is skilled at interacting with large groups of pups and understanding doggie body language, which helps maintain positive playtime experiences.

Our trained coaches can help enhance your dog’s day by gently guiding them and providing the love and care they deserve. As our “fun-starters,” our team organizes brain games and exercises, as well as training opportunities that help pups learn basic commands and gain even better manners.

CLEANING AND HEALTH PROTOCOLS

Health and safety go hand in hand at our facility. We maintain a fresh, clean environment by sanitizing our playroom surfaces twice daily using dog-safe cleaning products and using a bio-enzymatic cleaner for quick spot clean-ups during playtime.

We also uphold Dogtopia’s health guidelines, which say all dogs in attendance must be:

• At least 12 weeks old
• Spayed/neutered if seven months and older
• Up to date on all required vaccinations (e.g., Bordetella, Rabies, and DHLPP/DHPP)
• In good overall health and free of any communicable conditions (e.g., fleas, ticks, etc.)

OUR INITIAL MEET & GREET

A 20–30-minute evaluation before your dog starts their first day with us will help us know if our facility is the right fit for them. This early check-in is just one way we help make sure daycare is safe for all our doggy guests.

We’ll review their health history, perform a nose-to-tail wellness check, and observe their behavior with like-minded dogs. Once our team gives you the green light, you can begin right away.
