In this week’s Learning Together we will review different types of leads, leashes & harnesses.  Ever thought you need a different type of leash for your dog?  Wanted to try a new type but didn’t know where to start. We will have examples available and we’ll talk about what each says they specialize in / focus on / work with / achieve / etc.

This is a FREE event to learn more about our pups while enjoying each other’s company and touring the facility if you’d like!  Please use GYM entrance located at front of building along Pullman Street.

What does Learning Together mean?  Exactly what it sounds like, we are learning with our pet parents!  The staff here at Dogtopia North Worcester go through HOURS of on-line training, then they shadow staff for another 50-75 hours before ultimately having to pass a hands on competency test.  Just so they can be left alone with our precious pups – never mind be superstars in the rooms! It takes a minimum of 90 days to pass all 3 levels of training and competencies and even then – we are not done learning!
The incredible support team available to us with Dogtopia is a wealth of knowledge and great for the daycare and boarding!  When it comes to helping dog parents be prepared, understand and have the best furry time possible we knew we wanted a partner!  Dogtopia North Worcester is working with GoodOwners.Dog in the Puppy Preschool, Dog Training Group Sessions and Learning Together!  Their website brings together information from experts and respected information sources so that we can all rest easy knowing the information is reliable and just focus on what is best for each of us and our pups.

Every other Sunday Pet Parents are encouraged to join us for that week’s subject discussion/training.  You can bring up other questions and concerns you might have, review behavior changes you may be seeing (or want to see) at home, talk about issues in the community that affect our daycare, boarding and dog families.  Bring a friend!  You don’t have to be a Dogtopia Parent to join us for Learning Together!  Think of it as an informal Open House if you want 🙂 Most of the time we will gather in the gym so it’s a great chance to really see behind the scenes too! Bring Your Own Beverages or water and coffee provided.  Kids are welcome but 2 legged kind only for these gatherings.
