The staff is so friendly and that goes a long way toward knowing our dogs will be well cared for while we are out of town.

We have been coming to Dogtopia for ~8 years, and our dogs love it. They love the people who work there and like to play with other dogs. Our family really likes that it’s clean and that our two dogs are well cared for. We do doggie daycare (buying the 20-day passes for our two pups) and also do boarding, baths, nail trims, and, of course, we get the snacks/treats to spoil them. What I like best is how the employees really love the dogs and are passionate about taking great care of them. I trust Dogtopia with our two dogs – especially when we had to go away for a two-week trip a few years ago. We had peace of mind knowing that they were well cared for and having a great time.

Friendly staff and special activities! I don’t need to use Dogtopia of Midlothian very often, but when I do, whoever is “on duty” when my dog and I arrive, the dog’s name is always remembered – even when I don’t call in advance to be sure there will be space for him. There are numerous special activities happening, and when the staff takes photos of the dogs having fun, every photo is a keeper! (I would never have guessed that our dog would smile on command.)
On one occasion, my son had to be at the hospital early for surgery. I would not have been able to get to the hospital in time if I had to wait for Dogtopia to open and then possibly have to wait while other dogs were being checked in. The person to whom I spoke when explaining the situation said that someone was always available prior to the 6:30 a.m. opening time; she would leave them a message that we would be bringing in our dog about 20 minutes prior to opening. We were able to leave our dog at Dogtopia the next day at 6:10. The dog was happy and we got to the hospital in time.
