At Dogtopia of Raleigh - Northwest, boarding is more than just an overnight stay: it’s a full-day experience packed with play, companionship, and comfort.
We believe your furry family member deserves the same level of love and attention while you’re away as they get at home, which is why we don’t isolate dogs in lonely kennels at night. Instead, your dog will snooze in a cozy, homestyle crate right alongside their furry friends—the same ones they’ve been playing with all day. Because they’ve spent the day socializing and exercising together, bedtime feels familiar, calm, and stress-free.
PREMIER DOG BOARDING IN RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA
Dogs thrive on consistency. Our boarding pups follow a daily schedule that includes daytime play, meals, rest periods, potty breaks, and additional after-hours playtime. This structured schedule reduces stress and helps them feel secure.
At Dogtopia, your pup won’t be in a kennel all day; they’ll enjoy open-play daycare during the day in our indoor playrooms and outdoor space (weather permitting), where we group dogs by size and temperament for safety and fun. They’ll exercise, learn, socialize, and play to increase their activity level and remain mentally engaged through our fun brain games and agility exercises. At night, they’ll sleep in a secure, climate-controlled area.
What sets our boarding apart? Every overnight stay includes:
- 8–10 hours of open, supervised play with dogs of similar size and temperament. From morning zoomies to afternoon snuggles, your pup will stay active, happy, and mentally stimulated.
- A scheduled daily rest period from 12–2 p.m., giving your dog a break to eat lunch (if they eat midday) and enjoy a well-deserved nap before they get back to all the fun before bedtime.
Whether you’re traveling for work or taking a vacation, you can relax knowing your dog is safe, loved, and having the best day (and night) ever. Learn more about what your pup’s day will look like at Dogtopia of Raleigh - Northwest, including details on our playrooms, here.
Here are some of our stand-out features your pup can expect during their overnight stay:
- We provide all-inclusive care! We have bedding, bowls, toys, and lots of love, so you don’t need to pack much. Of course, you’re welcome to supply your own food, treats, and even medicine, which will be administered at no extra charge.
- You can trust that your pup will be in a safe environment. Our Canine Coaches complete comprehensive training, so they’re skilled in interacting with large groups of dogs.
- Our playrooms undergo twice-daily cleaning. We pride ourselves on our strict cleaning protocols, including deep sanitization and secure play areas, along with advanced air filtration systems to help keep the environment healthy.
- We have a staff that truly cares. Our team love dogs and treats each pup like family. Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home—even when you’re away.
- A restful night’s sleep. Pet parents love our boarding because their dogs finish their day at daycare ready to drift off to dreamland. It’s a guilt-free way to travel, knowing your pup is in expert hands.
WATCH YOUR DOG ON OUR PLAYROOM WEBCAMS
Join in on the fun virtually by checking in on your pup while you’re away! Our indoor playrooms and outdoor play space are equipped with live webcams, allowing you to watch your dog play and interact with their friend group throughout the day. The only time we turn our livestream off is when we dim the lights during naptime and overnight.
BEFORE BOOKING A BOARDING STAY
Dogtopia of Raleigh - Northwest prioritizes safety and the overall wellness of dogs. One of the ways we achieve this is through our Meet & Greet evaluation, which takes place before any dog visits our facility. From a health history review to check for vaccination status to a nose-to-tail assessment to a crate comfort check, our evaluators will determine if our off-leash environment is the right fit. Learn more about this process on our new pet parent info page.
Our team also recommends booking at least three days of daycare before an overnight stay. We find pups are much more confident when they have a test run, and our staff would love to get to know your furry friend more before they have their mini staycation with us.
