At Dogtopia of Raleigh - Northwest, we offer a safe and spacious environment specifically designed for dogs to play, socialize, and thrive. Our modern, 4,000-square-foot facility features two climate-controlled indoor playrooms and a large, secure outdoor play area, providing pups plenty of room to romp and explore regardless of the weather.

What makes our location truly stand out is the thoughtful design of our playrooms, where we separate dogs by their size and temperament. This precaution helps us make sure that every dog feels comfortable and confident when interacting with their friends.

OUR DOG DAYCARE ITINERARY

Your furry friend is going to love daycare thanks to the structure and stimulation it provides. We recommend at least three days a week for most pups so they can learn, exercise, and socialize on a regular basis. They’ll appreciate the routine and even start anticipating their next visit! THROUGHOUT THE DAY

Dogs enjoy 8-10 hours of open play in one of our climate-controlled indoor playrooms and will also spend time in our spacious outdoor play area, weather permitting. Your pup will develop confidence and good behaviors, leading to less mischief at home. This all leads to a better quality of life for everyone in your pack!

Our doggy daycare goes beyond just offering supervision—it’s a space where pups can fill their itinerary with tail-wagging fun. In addition to physical activity, socialization, and learning opportunities throughout the day, we also organize themed photoshoots, playroom bubble parties, and more.

PLENTY OF DOWNTIME

After a morning of playing with their friends, pups enjoy a break from 12-2 p.m., giving your dog a quiet break to recharge, digest their lunch (if they eat midday), and enjoy a little downtime before getting back to the fun until pickup. This is also when we complete one of our disinfecting cleanings of each room. Throughout the day, your dog will also have lots of opportunities to take a break from play if needed.

DOG TREAT BREAKS

Treat your pup to a variety of nutritious and delicious options while they’re at daycare, including protein bowls and specialty treats. These are designed to enhance your pup’s experience during their visits or as special rewards.

There are also times when we will be Makin’ Bacon for the Foundation, where all proceeds go to support the Dogtopia Foundation—a nonprofit committed to helping dogs positively impact the world by supporting veterans, students, and adults with autism.

SPA VISIT

Bringing your pup to our doggy spa is a great way to add some extra pampering during their day at daycare. From baths and tail trims to teeth brushing and more, our qualified team can help your pup feel like a million bones!

Our team is trained in dog behavior, first aid, and group play dynamics to ensure safety. They know how to interact with dogs of all sizes and breeds and are committed to your dog’s overall health and wellness by focusing on organizing regular socialization, exercise, and education.

STRICT CLEANING PROTOCOLS

We pride ourselves on our commitment to cleanliness, which includes twice daily deep sanitization on all playroom surfaces using dog-safe cleaning products and a bio-enzymatic cleaner for quick spot clean-ups during playtime.

A MEET & GREET EVALUATION

We want to make sure each pup is a good fit for our space, so our team performs an initial evaluation before dogs can join daycare. Once approved, they can begin right away. Learn more about the process here.

HEALTH GUIDELINES

All dogs must be:

At least 12 weeks old
In good overall health and free of any communicable conditions, including fleas and ticks
Spayed or neutered if seven months and older
Up to date on all required vaccinations (e.g., Bordetella, Rabies, and DHLPP/DHPP)

KEEP TRACK OF YOUR DOG’S ACTIVITY AT DAYCARE

You can monitor your dog’s activity during the day in a few ways:

Coach feedback: Receive feedback and insights from our team about your pup’s day, including who they played with, their behavior, and any tips we recommend.
Live webcams: Customers often tell us how much they appreciate our transparency, especially our live webcams, which are equipped in each playroom and our outdoor play area, allowing you to check in on your pup throughout the day. When viewing, please keep in mind:
- You can tune in from 7:00 am to noon and from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- The cameras will only be turned off while pups take their afternoon rest and while we complete our cleaning protocols for each room.
