WHAT MAKES OUR DOG DAYCARE PLAYROOMS STAND OUT?

Dogs are animals that love to socialize and explore, which is why our playrooms have an open play concept that offers the space for pups to stay healthy and exercise while they form bonds with other dogs that match their size, temperament, and play style (a game-changer for more confident, safer interactions).

We crafted each playroom with features designed to keep dogs happy and healthy, including:

• Rubberized flooring specially designed to aid in the long-term joint and paw health
• HVAC systems that cycle fresh air every 10-12 minutes and keep the temperature comfortable for playing
• Pup-specific play equipment for those who are more adventurous or curious
• Floor-to-ceiling walls to minimize noise and distractions from neighboring playrooms (rather than dividers or fences)
• Webcams, so that you never feel separated from your dog (we only turn our streams off between 12-2 p.m. and overnight)

Everyone on the Dogtopia staff is trained in dog behavior, and we have ongoing training for our employees. Have you met our team?  They are amazing and obsessed with dogs and their well-being. We take pride in our transparency, so feel free to call, stop in, or just enjoy watching your pup on the dog daycare cameras.

Before supervising our playrooms, our Canine Coaches:

• Must complete rigorous training, designed by a canine behaviorist, on dog body language and behavior
• Learn how to recognize even the most subtle doggy body language, and handle dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments
• Learn how to deep clean and sanitize our playrooms, which is done multiple times a day with a biologically safe, pet-friendly cleaner

YOUR DOG’S DAY AT DAYCARE

Dogs thrive in a structured environment where they can socialize with others, learn new things, stay active, and have fun. That’s why our daycare provides pet parents with more than just a place to leave their dog for the day. Pups will learn valuable skills, including how to behave around humans and other dogs, which benefits them in and outside of our playrooms.

Here’s a glance at a typical day at Dogtopia of Moon Township:

• Throughout the day: Pups enjoy 8-10 hours of play, where they can rack up to 60,000 steps (a major benefit for cardiovascular health, weight management, and overall wellness). Our team organizes brain games, exercises, and basic training techniques to keep pups physically and mentally engaged.
• Rest breaks: From 12-2 p.m., our pups take a well-deserved lunch and nap break, so they can feel recharged for the rest of the day and our staff can deep-clean each playroom and the play equipment. Dogs are also afforded breaks from play whenever needed.
• A trip to the spa: If your pup needs a spa day, we offer several treatments that are perfect as daycare add-ons. By pick-up time, pups will be happily played out, looking and smelling fresh!

We have a variety of safety measures that we follow before any dog can start their day at our facility:

• Meet & Greet: This is a 20–30-minute evaluation that serves as a daycare test drive. Learn more about the process here.
• Health guidelines: All dogs must be at least 12 weeks old, in good overall health (free of communicable conditions, including fleas/ticks), spayed or neutered if seven months and older, and have an updated vaccination record (e.g., Bordetella, Rabies, and DHLPP/DHPP)
