Ben and Danielle, Owners
Ben and Danielle Hauck opened Dogtopia of Round Rock in November of 2018. The Hauck’s have always had dogs in their lives. Currently, Lucy (Pomsky), April (mini doodle) and their kids, Ryan and Hadley, have the run of the house.
Danielle works in the tech industry as a Program Manager for AMD and as Dogtopia of Round Rocks resident Pack Leader Ben spends his days playing with all the wonderful dogs that visit us here.
We were very lucky to find Dogtopia as we searched for a new adventure and having visited another local Dogtopia, we were sold. An award-winning Doggie Daycare, Boarding and Spa facility with beautiful, state of the art facilities – AND – you get to play with dogs? We have a passion for service and a passion for dogs. We strive every day to make sure your pup is having THE MOST EXCITING DAY EVER in our fun, safe and super clean facility.
Michael Rupe, Operations Manager
Michael Rupe is a dedicated professional with a unique background shaped by his service in the U.S. Army. Originally from Alaska, Michael spent 5 and a half years as a combat engineer and dog trainer, roles that honed his discipline, problem-solving skills, and deep connection with animals. His time in the military allowed him to work with specialized K9 units, furthering his passion for dog training. After his service, he transitioned to civilian life and relocated to Austin, Texas, in 2018, where he has made a home surrounded by the warmth of both the city and his four loyal dogs, along with one foster dog, reflecting his love for animals and his commitment to caring for those in need.
Since moving to Austin, Michael has continued to pursue his passion for training and working with dogs, applying the skills he developed in the Army to his personal life and professional ventures. His experience as a dog trainer and combat engineer has influenced his approach to both his work and his everyday life, blending structure with compassion. Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael enjoys the vibrant culture of Austin and its surrounding areas, while embracing the joys of pet ownership and fostering. His diverse experiences, both in the military and in civilian life, have shaped him into a versatile and empathetic individual who values loyalty, hard work, and community.
Sydney Graham, Customer Experience Manager
Sydney’s love for animals started early-her mom was a vet tech specializing in canine hydrotherapy and show dog care and up keep, so she grew up surrounded by all kinds of furry friends. Even though she’ll say she’s a cat person at heart, she’s absolutely obsessed with her family’s French Mastiff, Otto.
With over 15 years of customer service experience, Sydney brings a well-rounded skill set to the team. Throughout her career, she’s led team training, strengthened customer retention, coordinated events, and managed social media with creativity and care. She loves being able to combine her professional experience with her passion for animals.
Sydney moved to Texas in 2011 and instantly fell in love with the warm, sunny weather. When she’s not caring for pets, you can catch her enjoying a slice of pizza or showing off her favorite color – purple.
She’s thrilled to be part of the team and can’t wait to meet you and your pups!
