MEET RAM – SOUTH ELGIN’S 5th SERVICE DOG FOR A VETERAN

We’re proud to announce that Ram, the 5th service dog sponsored by Dogtopia of South Elgin through the Dogtopia Foundation, has officially been matched with Warrior Joshua, a proud Marine veteran. Their partnership was made possible through our continued collaboration with K9s For Warriors, the nation’s largest provider of trained service dogs for veterans living with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma.

Throughout his training, Ram showed dedication, intelligence, and heart. He’s calm, confident, and eager to please—qualities that make him the perfect companion for Joshua as they begin this new chapter together. Ram has worked hard to master his skills, and it’s been inspiring to watch his growth and transformation from a playful pup to a true hero’s helper.
