Getting Started at Dogtopia in Tempe, AZ

Welcome to the Dogtopia family! We’re excited to have you and your pup join us at our Tempe location. Here’s everything you need to know to get started.

Step 1: Schedule a Meet & Greet

Every new dog starts with a free Meet & Greet at our Tempe facility. This is an opportunity for your dog to explore our playrooms, interact with our Canine Coaches, and get comfortable in the Dogtopia environment. We’ll also assess your dog’s temperament to determine the best playroom match.

Step 2: Vaccination Requirements

For the safety of all dogs at Dogtopia of Tempe, we require the following vaccinations to be current:

• Rabies — required by law
• DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough) — must be administered at least 48 hours before first visit
• Canine Influenza (H3N2 & H3N8)

Please bring proof of current vaccinations to your Meet & Greet. Your veterinarian can also fax or email records directly to us.

Step 3: Spay/Neuter Requirement

All dogs over 7 months of age must be spayed or neutered to attend Dogtopia of Tempe.

Step 4: What to Bring on Your Dog’s First Day

• Completed enrollment paperwork
• Current vaccination records
• Your dog’s favorite treats (for positive reinforcement)
• A leash and collar with ID tags
• For boarding stays: your dog’s regular food, medications, and a comfort item from home

What to Expect

On your dog’s first day at Dogtopia of Tempe, our Canine Coaches will help them settle into a playroom matched to their size and temperament. Most dogs adapt quickly and are playing with new friends within minutes! You can watch your pup via our live webcams throughout the day.
