Dogtopia of Valley Forge is thrilled to announce that we will be fundraising for the Dogtopia Foundation which supports programs that positively impact the lives of United States military service members and veterans.  We are committed to funding service dog training and related research for military veterans returning home with physical and emotional challenges.

For our first fundraiser, we’ll be selling raffle tickets to win a custom, 11″x 14″ pet portrait by local artist Joe Brewer. This portrait is valued at $549! Raffle tickets will be $10 apiece and we will only sell 200 tickets to win this prize. Joe works from photographs so you do not need to be a local to purchase a ticket or win the prize. We will select the winner of the raffle as part of our Grand Opening celebration, the date of which will be announced as we monitor the progress of our construction.

We are excited to be working with local artist Joe Brewer who has been drawing for over 40 years. Joe is passionate about portraits because of the joy and love they bring to peoples’ faces. Joe studied illustration and design at Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia and his work appears in homes across the USA and Europe. His preferred medium is pastel on 500 and 600 grit Uart sandpaper. Joe and his wife have adopted a Golden Retriever named Malia who has inspired them to support several local animal rescue organizations.
