Golden Hour Royal Portraits

Inspired by Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Part 1, our Golden Hour Royal Portraits event brings a little royal Maytime magic to Dogtopia of Norfolk-Ghent. Each participating dog will be styled with a golden cloak inspired by armor, then photographed against a soft wildflower field backdrop with warm, glowing sunlight tones. The result is a portrait that feels regal, poetic, and full of spring energy — perfect for dogs who deserve their own golden-hour moment.

This event is all about capturing the spirit Shakespeare describes: bright, bold, playful, and full of life. From confident Romper Room royalty to sweet Toybox stars, each dog will have the chance to shine in a portrait that feels both grand and natural.
