On Wednesday, August 12, our daycare pups will create personalized Helping Paws Hero Medals as part of our celebration of nine years of the Dogtopia Foundation.

The Dogtopia Foundation helps dogs positively change our world by supporting service dogs for veterans, youth literacy programs, and employment initiatives for adults with autism. This special keepsake will celebrate the many ways our own daycare dogs bring happiness, comfort, confidence, and connection into the lives of the people and pups around them.

A Medal as Unique as Your Dog

Each participating pup will receive a dimensional, hanging award ribbon featuring:

Their name or photo
Dogtopia-inspired colors and ribbon details
A personalized impact statement
A special symbol selected by the dog
A loop for displaying the medal at home

Our team will create a unique impact statement describing how each dog positively changes the world. It may celebrate their joyful personality, loyalty, friendship, confidence, or special talent for making everyone smile.

Letting the Dogs Choose

Every participating dog will help personalize their medal by choosing a Foundation-inspired symbol through a fun sniff test:

Heart: Helping heroes and offering comfort
Book: Inspiring confidence and young readers
Star: Creating brighter, more inclusive futures

Whichever symbol catches the dog’s attention first will be added to their medal, giving every keepsake a personal enrichment element and a sweet story to share with their family.
