Let’s fetch kindness forward!

On Tuesday, August 11, Dogtopia of Norfolk–Ghent is celebrating nine years of the Dogtopia Foundation with our special Fetch It Forward Agility Run.

During this $9 agility adventure, participating pups will retrieve toys and travel through a playful course inspired by the idea of passing kindness forward. With every tunnel, obstacle, and successful mission, our dogs will celebrate the incredible ways they can make a positive difference in people’s lives.

The event supports the Dogtopia Foundation’s mission to help dogs positively change our world through three important causes:

• Funding service dogs for veterans
• Supporting youth literacy programs
• Creating employment opportunities for adults with autism

Our team will be joining the celebration in Dogtopia Foundation apparel as we share more about the Foundation’s work and encourage pups throughout their special mission.

“I’m Positively Changing Our World” Photo Keepsake

Pet parents who make a donation of any amount to the Dogtopia Foundation will receive an official “I’m Positively Changing Our World” photo keepsake of their pup as a thank-you.

Each participating dog’s photo will include a short, personalized impact statement celebrating the unique way they make the world a happier place. Examples might include:

• “I make tails wag—and humans laugh.”
• “I turn ordinary days into really good ones.”
• “I show up happy—and it’s contagious.”
• “I’m everyone’s favorite part of the day.”

The finished photo will be shared digitally with the pet parent, and printed photos may be displayed in our lobby throughout Foundation Week before going home with each pup.

The Foundation keepsake is available with any donation and is separate from the $9 agility registration. Your pup is welcome to participate in either activity—or do both for the complete Foundation Day experience!
