Dogtopia of Lionhead is a locally owned business operated by two twin sisters who understand that your dog is a member of the family. We want to provide your dog with safe socialization so that they meet and play with like-minded friends, exercise to keep them healthy and extend their lives and education to help ensure they are well-behaved both at home an when you take them out in public.
Our daycare is designed with these needs in mind. Your dog’s safety is our top priority; that’s why our team’s training is certified by two nationally recognized associations in canine behaviour. Our play rooms are supervised by these certified Canine Coaches, and your dog will be in a playroom where he or she is surrounded by dogs of similar size, temperament and play style as well as those who are fully vaccinated and have passed our Dogtopia evaluation. Your dog will be in very capable hands during their time with us!

We model our doggy daycare structure after that of children’s daycare. We focus on ensuring that our canine guests reap all the benefits you’d expect from daycare, including healthy exercise, safe socialization with humans and other dogs, mental stimulation and learning positive behaviours. We offer half and full-day packages that cater to every pet parents’ needs, with packages to suit any budget. Whether you want pay-as-you-go access, 5- or 10-day passes or membership rates, we have a variety of options to choose from
Watch your pup play on webcams
We pride ourselves on being transparent and honest with our pet parents. This is why all pet parents who leave their dogs in our care have access to live webcam streams available on any device connected to the internet. Watching your pup frolic and play with their doggy friends will surely put a smile on your face.

Our 4,500 square foot state-of-the-art facility boasts three spacious playrooms: the Gym, the Romper, and the Toy Box. Each dog is assigned to a playroom depending on their size, temperament and playstyle to ensure safety and comfort for all!
Our playrooms are customized to create the safest environment for your pup, with specialized, non-slip rubber flooring that allows for true sanitization, as well as provides your dog with a surface that is gentle on their paws and joints. It also supports the long-term care for your pup’s joints, particularly those suffering from hip dysplasia and other ailments.
You won’t see any chain-link fencing at our facility, as all playrooms are separated by full walls to help prevent the spread of airborne illness. We also find that enclosed playrooms are much more relaxing for our canine guests, as they do not become over-stimulated watching dogs of different sizes in other rooms that they can’t get to.
We offer an off-leash, open-play environment, allowing your pup total freedom. We provide dog parents with half-day or full-day daycare. If your pup needs a spa day, we also offer spa services as a part of our daycare and boarding packages. When you pick up your dog at the end of the day, you’ll pick up a perfectly happy and played out pup.

STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY
We’ve taken every precaution when it comes to the design of our facility. All of our spacious indoor playrooms use climate-controlled HVAC systems to keep your pup the perfect temperature during play time and nap time, and to help keep the air fresh and clean.
We deep clean and sanitize the playrooms multiple times a day with a biologically safe, pet-friendly cleaner. The compressed rubber flooring is specially designed to aid in the long-term joint a paw health of your furry child.
So you never feel separated from your dog, we have webcams in every playroom so you check in on them throughout the day (excluding naptime and overnight). All you need is a device that is connected to the Internet.
Your dog’s safety is our number one priority, which is why our Canine Coaches must complete a rigorous training, designed by a canine behaviorist, on dog body language and behavior. Our team knows how to recognize even the most subtle dog body language, and handle dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments.
