At our brand-new facility, you’ll find 4,680 sq. ft. of playroom space for pups to enjoy. Split into three playrooms, our daycare dogs don’t have to worry about interacting with other pups that may not fit their playtime vibe. Instead, our Dogtopia of Orlando - East team separates dogs based on their size and play style, which is determined during their Meet & Greet evaluation. Smaller pups will enjoy socializing and exercising in the Toy Box playroom, medium-sized dogs will love spending time in the Romper playroom, and larger breeds will have plenty of space to play in the Gym playroom. Pups are always grouped with their fellow playroom pals and are carefully supervised by our highly skilled staff, which keeps our facility safe and our pet parents worry-free.

We host wellness-focused exercises and activities for the daycare dogs at Dogtopia of Orlando - East, including our tail-wagging fun bubble parties, where they can chase and chomp on bacon- and peanut butter-flavored bubbles. We also regularly hold seasonal photoshoots with themed backgrounds and props that result in the cutest pictures. Our Art & Crafts days channel our pups’ inner artists and let them bring home paw-painted creations, and our special treat days are always the cherry on top of an already exciting day.

Dogs remain off-leash in our playrooms and enjoy an open, safe play space. We have play equipment, ramps, and tons of room to let them navigate their surroundings, which gives them the confidence to develop into even-greater canine citizens. Each room has rubberized flooring designed to improve doggie joint health and its own HVAC system for optimal temperature and air filtration to maintain comfortable play. Sanitized twice daily, Dogtopia of Orlando - East uses pet-safe cleaning supplies, including a bio-enzymatic cleaner for spot cleaning when the dogs are in open play. We thoroughly follow the policies and procedures established by Dogtopia’s very own Environmental Biologist and Veterinary Scientist to ensure our facility remains safe and clean.

Dogtopia of Orlando – East has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy. Our passionate and knowledgeable team is what makes our dog center thrive! When your pup is in our playrooms, they will be under the watchful eye of our highly trained Canine Coaches, who are dedicated to your dog’s safety and happiness. To become a Canine Coach at Dogtopia of Orlando - East, our team undergoes a four-part custom curriculum designed by a Registered Canine Behaviorist. The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers has approved this curriculum.

From understanding behavior to navigating doggie body language, our Canine Coaches are skilled at engaging with dogs of any size, breed, and age. They ensure safe play and will swiftly intervene to encourage socialization and grant some “me” time for the pups that need a break from playing. Our Coaches are also the fun-starters; there to carry out our engaging activities throughout the day, so you and your pup can feel the trust of our dedicated and loving team.

Because our Canine Coaches are there by your pup’s side throughout the day, they get to know your dog and can provide periodic report cards that outline how your pup behaved during the day and who they socialized with. Regular daycare attendance lets pet parents gain better insight into their pup’s progress and any particular behavioral issues that need to be worked on.

This assessment is a chance to welcome you to our space and ensure your pup is a good fit for our off-leash, open-play facility. All dogs at Dogtopia of Orlando - East must pass our Meet & Greet assessment before partaking in any of our services, so our team places great importance on this process, as we want to ensure all dogs in our facility can interact safely with one another. We’ll show you around our dog center, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you know the ins and outs of daycare so you can rest assured your furry family member is in a safe and secure space.

This assessment is quick yet thorough and consists mainly of two parts—a health and wellness check and a controlled daycare experience. Our team will confirm your pup is up-to-date on their vaccinations, will review their health history, and perform a nose-to-tail evaluation to make a note of any sensitivities in touch your dog may have (this allows our team to ensure your pup is comfortable).

The other half of this assessment involves creating a controlled mini-play space with some like-minded dogs of similar size and temperament. This allows our team to see how they respond to other dogs and our staff in an open-play environment. During this time, we’ll also test their comfort in our home-style crates, which we use for breaks, naptime, boarding, and mealtime. After this is complete, we’ll share our findings, and any dog not yet comfortable is always welcome back when they’re ready.

All dogs in our Dogtopia Squad must be vaccinated against common doggie diseases, including Bordetella, DHLPP/DHPP (also called “distemper/parvo”), and Rabies. We also highly recommend the canine influenza vaccine, but our team will inform you if this is a requirement to play. We also ask that you confirm your dog is in good health and has not been ill in the last 30 days, which includes conditions such as fleas or ticks. While we do not turn away dogs based on their breed, your pup must be at least 12 weeks old, and those seven months or older must be spayed/neutered.
