At Dogtopia of Orlando - East, your dog will feel right at home during their boarding visit. To ensure they feel comfortable in our playrooms and become familiar with their furry friend group, we require they attend daycare at least three times prior to their overnight stay with us. This will help make them feel safe and at home while you are away. It also reassures them that you’ll always return to pick them up.
Our boarding options include home-style crates in our playrooms. Both are comfortable options, but many pet parents will opt for the latter for larger dogs or to keep siblings together overnight.
You are welcome to bring items such as blankets or a small bed to make your pup feel even more comfortable during their stay and provide a sense of familiarity and smells from home.

During the day, our overnight dogs will enjoy a full day of daycare and enjoy the benefits of playing, learning, exercising, and socializing. With 4,680 sq. ft. of playroom space for pups to roam, they can feel comfort knowing they’ll interact with pups that match their size, temperament, and playstyle. We’ve split our space into three playrooms: our Toy Box, ideal for small dogs; our Romper room, perfect for medium-sized dogs; and our Gym, for our larger breeds.
All three playrooms have been designed to meet the safety needs that dogs deserve. We used a compressed rubberized material as our flooring to promote comfort and the long-term health of dogs’ paws, hips and joints, while our floor-to-ceiling walls are soundproof, which lessens distractions and contains any possible airborne doggie viruses. Rather than only using dividers like some doggie daycares opt for, our complete separation allows pups to focus on one another rather than their neighbors, keeping attention on their furry friend group as they form lasting bonds.
Airflow is also an element of our safety and cleanliness standards, which we prioritize since we are an indoor facility. This is why we have advanced HVAC systems in each room to keep air circulating while helping maintain a temperature of 70 degrees. No matter the weather outside, our pups’ staycation weather is always comfortable to play in.
We take great care in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the playrooms at our facility. This is why we deep clean twice a day using only dog-safe cleaning products. Additionally, we follow the expert guidelines developed by Dogtopia’s Veterinary Scientist and Environmental Biologist to promote the well-being of all dogs that enter our space.
Our playrooms are also equipped with webcams that livestream all the playtime fun happening during the day, accessed via our free mobile app and/or website. This means it doesn’t matter where you are, you can see your pup having fun with their furry friend group.

Our team structures our dogs’ day so that they’re always feeling their best, including coordinating agility exercises to boost their fitness level and promote good cardiovascular health. We also organize brain games to stimulate their minds and improve their problem-solving skills. Throughout this, dogs are reinforcing positive doggie relationships with their furry friend group, and it’s this socialization aspect that helps them develop the confidence to approach new situations as they work on becoming even greater canine citizens.
In the morning, our boarding dogs enjoy all of these daycare activities with our team. During the day, pups will play, learn, run around, and socialize with their furry pals until the evening, when our daycare crowd gets picked up, and our boarding pups get to play a bit longer while our team prepares their dinner. Once dinner is served, dogs are happily played out and ready to drift off to sleep in their crate or suite. The process starts again the next day until you are ready to pick them up.

Dogtopia of Orlando - East regularly holds playroom bubble parties where our party-goers chase bacon- and peanut butter-flavored bubbles around the room, which is not only fun but encourages paw-eye coordination. We also hold seasonal photoshoots where we snap a pic of your pup with different backgrounds and props depending on the theme—it’s the cutest thing you’ll see all day! At Dogtopia of Orlando - East, we prioritize safety as one of the main pillars. Our highly skilled, knowledgeable team of Canine Coaches are in each playroom not only supervising but encouraging each pup to play and socialize while also recognizing when dogs may need a break.
Having been trained in dog body language and behavior, they can quickly read the room and detect and divert any possible unwanted behavior before it escalates. They have undergone an extensive Canine Behaviorist-designed curriculum consisting of four parts that have been approved by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.

our meet & greet initial assessment
To certify that each pup at our facility is a good fit for our off-leash, open-play environment, we perform an initial assessment, also known as a Meet & Greet evaluation. Our expert evaluators will conduct a thorough wellness check from snout to tail to ensure your pup is in good health. We’ll also review their medical history, including their vaccination record, which must be up-to-date with common shots like Bordetella, DHLPP/DHPP (also called “distemper/parvo”), and Rabies. All pups must be at least 12 weeks of age, and those seven months and older must be spayed/neutered.
During this time, we’ll see how your pup responds to a mini-control play area where they’ll interact with a small group of like-minded daycare dogs under the careful watch of our Canine Coaches. Since our boarding pups will be in our home-style crates during naptime and overnight (if not in a private suite), we’ll also check your dog’s comfort in a crate.
We will also use this time to show you around our facility and answer any of your questions. We want this to be your pup’s home away from home, so if you’re comfortable, your pup will pick up on that.
