8th Ave – Nashville Reviews

They are very friendly and care about the dogs in their service. They are engaging and seem to love animals. They also knew my pet right away. The only negative is no outdoor space, not their fault.
The staff is always kind and welcoming, the fun bonus activities are always amazing. Taylor the manager is exceptionally amazing. She goes the extra mile to take care of my dogs and tell me about their days, but also takes the time to get to know me as well. I really enjoy being able to see them on the webcams, it gives me peace of mind and brightens my days. My dogs always get excited when we pull in the parking lot which tells me how much they love being there too!
Staff are always helpful and deal with problems without a fuss. They clearly care a lot about the animals they care for.
My little rescue loves Dogtopia on 8th! We’ve tried a couple places a little closer to where I live, and we just prefer our Dogtopia. The hours are perfect for her & she loves her time in both the ToyBox and Weepen. She absolutely loves the trainers: Taylor, Avery, Skyler, Myesha, and Arjay!
Some days when looking at the cameras, we have seen around 25 dogs just in one room. When the rooms are that crowded, it’s not very easy for the dogs to just play, it seems overstimulating to them, and could be a safety hazard as well. It’s clear they are able to have much more fun when there are an appropriate number of dogs & they have room to run & play.
Also, our dogs smell strongly of pee every time we pick them up, so we either have to pay extra for them to be bathed there, or give them baths ourselves at home every time.
We have frequently seen employees take one mop and use it to wipe up 5 or more pee puddles without wringing & rinsing the mop between at all. This is essentially just spreading pee all over the floor, not cleaning, and makes sense why our dogs have such a strong urine odor when coming home. This is definitely a big factor in how often we decide to send them to dogtopia.
So yes, overcrowding and cleanliness would be our top two suggestions for improvement.
Otherwise, the front desk staff is lovely and when the rooms aren’t overcrowded, it’s clear our dogs have a blast. We do greatly appreciate you looking after them.
I love Dogtopia! My dog loves going to daycare and playing with all his friends. It gives me peace of mind knowing my fur baby is being taken care of when I have to be away. I have so much trust in the team and appreciate them loving my fur baby as much as I do. Highly recommend!
I wish there was an outdoor area
They are always friendly. Seem to really care about the animals.

Everyone on this team makes my Priscilla feel safe and loved!
