Meet the Team
Jordan Chandler, General Manager
Hello, I’m Jordan Chandler! I grew up in Gadsden and moved to the Birmingham area in 2021. I’m a proud graduate of Auburn University and I’ve spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry developing a strong work ethic and love for working with people.
Over the years, I’ve followed my passion for animals by working part-time as an LVT and helping with over 10 dog rescues and local humane societies. When I’m not spending time with my kids, you can usually find me taking care of animals.
That passion has led me to my dream job at Dogtopia, where I get to spend my days caring for dogs and doing what I truly love.
Mackenzie Van Oosterhout, Area Manager
Mackenzie, a dog-love Michigander, now calls Birmingham home after years of wandering in her 20’s. Her loyal companion, Thor, a German Shepherd, is the heart of her adventures. She left a decade-long career in restaurant management for a new life at Dogtopia, where she’s living her dream surrounded by paws, wagging tails, and endless doggy kisses. She and Thor explore the world, embracing the beauty of nature, and making every moment an adventure.
