We are committed to uniting service dogs with military veterans. We do this by generating awareness of the benefits of service dogs, and hosting fundraisers throughout the year so we can help sponsor their training. Thanks to the continuous generosity of our pet parents and community supporters, we're making an impact.
We're honored to highlight our furry, four-legged heroes who have graduated from training as loyal, hardworking companions for the brave men and women who served our country. It's hard work to become a service dog for a veteran and only the best make the cut. The need for service dogs among veterans is great and with your support, we hope to sponsor many more.
MEET OUR SERVICE DOGS
Solo
Service Dogs, Inc.
Through the Dogtopia Foundation, Dogtopia North Austin was able to sponsor their first service dog, Solo, for his companion, Bam Rubenstein! Bam served his country in the Air Force, and he served his community as a firefighter. Solo aids Bam in various day-to-day tasks such as mobility, item retrieving, and door opening! Solo is a smart, hardworking boy, and he makes his Dogtopia family proud!

Trinity

Through the Dogtopia Foundation, Dogtopia North Austin was able to sponsor their second service dog, Trinity Along the way, some pups let the trainers know that a life at home, and not a working career out in public, is what would best suit their needs. These dogs are referred to as making a "career change". Trinity made a career change and is now with a family in the Charolette area with a loving family who enjoys taking her to the lake on weekends.

The sponsorship is through K9s for Warriors, the nation’s largest provider of service dogs to veterans. Roughly 20 veterans die by suicide every day, and K9s For Warriors is committed to change that. Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD or other military-related issues.
