Meet the Team
Jolene & Matt, Owners
Matt and Jolene Urbancic are the owners of Dogtopia of North Austin. Matt and Jolene came to Austin from Ohio in the late 90’s. As their two children prepared to head to middle school, they decided it was time to combine their many years of business experience with their love for dogs. They wanted to provide a place where dog lovers could feel safe bringing their best friends for a day of exercise, fun and care or a place where they knew they would be leaving their dog in safe hands when they went on vacation. Dogtopia, with its award-winning reputation for customer service and cleanliness, was the perfect fit for their vision. Jolene and Matt have two golden retrievers, Boomer and Charli, along with a rescued Chihuahua, Roxy. They are proud of their award-winning staff and the great customer experience the team is known for in Austin.
When they are not working and playing at Dogtopia, Matt and Boomer are a certified complex-environment pet therapy team through the Dog Alliance. As a team, they regularly visit local hospitals, schools, businesses and colleges, bringing stress relief and the chance to get some “golden love” from Boomer!
Hannah Stoutamyer, General Manager
Hannah Stoutamyer is the General Manager at Dogtopia North Austin. She joined the team in 2023. Hannah is the mom of Otis, the happiest pup you’ll ever meet, and five cats at home. She has worked the past several years with animals in both the shelter and fostering systems. She cares deeply for furry friends of all kinds and does her best work to ensure your pups are incredibly well taken care of and loved fiercely every day!
Genevieve Hall, Operations Manager
Genevieve Hall is our Operations Manager at Dogtopia North Austin and has been a part of our incredible Dogtopia team since August of 2020. Originally joining as a part time student, she found a passion for the job and graduated a year and a half early to work full time. She loves the high energy and fast pace of the pups and thrives off making connections with every furry friend that walks through the door.
