Austin Service Dogs

Even Heroes Need Heroes

We are committed to uniting service dogs with military veterans. We do this by generating awareness of the benefits of service dogs, and hosting fundraisers throughout the year so we can help sponsor their training. Thanks to the continuous generosity of our pet parents and community supporters, we're making an impact.

We're honored to highlight our furry, four-legged heroes who have graduated from training as loyal, hardworking companions for the brave men and women who served our country. It's hard work to become a service dog for a veteran and only the best make the cut. The need for service dogs among veterans is great and with your support, we hope to sponsor many more.

GARTH UPDATE!

"My Client and I received our Red Vest! To earn this vest means that after taking custody of me, my Client -TJ, has maintained all standards. After passing another Public Access Test, we are now a certified working Team! I think my Client and I are unstoppable together. I am so glad that we bumped and became a team. There is nobody else I would rather work for, and be best friends with!"

Woof!  It’s Ben your favorite service dog in training! Grab your popcorn, folks, 'cause I've got a tail-wagging tale to tell about my latest adventure at the arcade with my pawsome trainer! Picture this: flashing lights, buzzing sounds, and games galore – it was a pupper's paradise! But amidst all the excitement, I had a mission: stay focused and be the best service doggo ever.

As we trotted into the arcade, my tail was wagging like crazy with anticipation. Everywhere I looked, there were bright colors and fun activities calling my name. But I had my eyes glued to my trainer, determined to show off my skills. Oh boy, the temptation was real! From the tantalizing smell of popcorn to the allure of the claw machine, it took all my willpower to stay on track. But with a little pep talk from my trainer and a whole lot of treats, I stayed laser-focused on following their lead and staying right by there side.

We tackled game after game, dodging obstacles and navigating through the crowds like a dynamic duo. And let me tell you, my trainer was beaming with pride with each successful maneuver! But the real test came when we stumbled upon the whack-a-mole game – my ultimate kryptonite. Those pesky moles popping up left and right had me itching to join in on the fun. But with a gentle reminder from my trainer, I resisted the urge and stayed by their side like the loyal pup I am.

By the time we left, I was pooped but proud. Navigating through the arcade may have been a challenge, but I proved that even in a sea of distractions, I'm the goodest boy around! Can’t wait to tell you about my next adventure here at camp k9! Woof woof!
