Friendly staff, app access, easy booking, scheduled activities for daycare

Very good

My dog Kirby [LAST NAME REMOVED] developed kennel cough while in your care. The text I I received while I was out of the country was a little alarming saying he had started coughing, had been isolated and needed to be picked up immediately. I was not familiar with kennel cough and am a new dog owner. So getting that without any explanation was scary to hear. Once I texted back asking questions you all did send a detailed reply explaining it more which was helpful. You all wanted me to understand that you are not an infirmary just as I wanted you all to understand that I was out of the country and was new to all of this and needed some time to figure out coverage and etc. It all worked out ok after vet visits and friends helping out but I guess it was just not the best first boarding experience. We had brought Kirby the 3 times as well so I guess it was unfortunate that it happened. I did appreciate how helpful the main lady working the front desk was/is when I asked all the initial boarding questions. I also appreciated more detailed text responses you all provided after the initial one telling me he was sick. You all mentioned that Kirby was a joy to have so that was nice to hear as well. I do plan to bring him back and try it out again. I hope he won’t get sick from another dog or develop kennel cough the next time. Thank you.

Clearly everyone who works at Dogtopia of Dulles loves their job. Such kind and caring people.
I also appreciate their efforts to have various activities to keep it interesting for the dogs.

Friendly and always helpful

I like bringing Frankie for his twice weekly outings. Your staff is very friendly and accomodating, even when I call sometimes to ask why he’s always in a crate. He isn’t, of course, I just worry needlessly. The place is very clean, has no “doggy” smell at all, is well organized and my doggo seems to like coming there.He did sustain bites, twice, but he probably deserved them since he can be a bit of a nuisance to other dogs. All in all, a good place!

Everyone is so nice. My dog loves it there. When we first started going, I would watch the dogs as they went in, waiting to see if they were hesitant but not one of them was! In fact they seemed to want to go through the ‘magic’ door that took them to all their friends; human and dog!

Dogtopia Dulles works with my dog and his puppy energy with patience and kindness and my pup always comes home tired and having learned something. Of all the Dogtopias we have been to, this Dogtopia is one of the only ones who quickly responds to voicemails, answers their phone, and is easy to communicate with for scheduling or any other concerns you may have. They ensure the safety of all the dogs in their care and keep the dogs engaged.

The policies in place makes sense. My dogs leave daycare happy and relaxed. Stability and acclimation is important so ability to board at the same place as daycare is great
