The staff at Dogtopia Charlottesville seem to know (and actually like) my dog. My dog is always excited to go there.
Great service, amazing staff, Tired dog = successful boarding.
Wish that the outdoor space were bigger. also would like to see undesirable behaviors, such as “humping” discouraged and curtailed more. Overall we like it.
The hours are the best in town.
The only thing that would make it better is that most times I pick up my dog, she smells strongly of pee. There have been only once or twice that I could tell she’d been sprayed with some kind of dog deodorizer and smelled good. This past time I picked her up, she’d had a bath, was still damp (I picked her up earlier than I’d planned), and still smelled strongly of pee.
People are friendly and accommodating. I like the phone app that permits me to see my dog in real time when she is boarding tthere.
