Cranberry Dog Boarding

Home sweet home away from home where I can have my own blanket and doggie personal space.

We like to call dog boarding at Dogtopia a staycation for your pup since they get to enjoy all the fun activities our daycare offers, with the added excitement of a doggie sleepover. Treat your pup to an overnight or extended stay at their new home away from home, where they can socialize and play with furry friends while engaging in agility exercises and entertaining brain games. Feel guilt-free when dropping them off at our facility and enjoy your time away, knowing that your pup is having the most exciting day ever.

To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, all dogs must pass our Meet & Greet evaluation before their stay. Our experts will gather background on your dog’s health, perform a nose-to-tail assessment to determine if they have any touch sensitivities, and assess what their comfort level is with other dogs in our off-leash, open setting. We also require that all dogs must be at least 12 weeks old and up to date on all required vaccinations like Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, and that all pups over seven months old are spayed/neutered.

DOG BOARDING IN CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA

Our brand-new facility is designed with your dog’s needs in mind. Our mission is to make sure our dogs are safe and having fun, which is why in addition to our two outdoor play areas, we offer three indoor playrooms, each designed for a specific type of dog in mind. We separate our daycare dogs by size, temperament, and play style; that way they feel comfortable to be their authentic doggie selves in a room designed for their needs.

Our Toybox playroom is the go-to spot for small dogs, the Romper Room is perfect for medium-sized dogs who have a bit of a rambunctious nature, and the Gym is ideal for our bigger dogs, as they need more space. Each playroom includes rubberized flooring, which aids in the long-term health of your pup’s joints and paws and is comfortable to play on so they can focus on having fun. To avoid any distractions, our playrooms are soundproof and have full walls to make the entire setting feel safe and relaxing, even when there are other playing pups in the next room.

What does a typical boarding day look like for a Dogtopia dog? From opening until noon, your pup will enjoy complete freedom as they play with like-minded furry friends in our closely supervised, off-leash environment. We designate time from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM so our pups can have some “me time” in their home-style crates – naps are always welcomed and deserved around this time. Our lunch-eating pups also take this time to chow down, but we make sure any eating happens right away, so that their food is completely digested before they are ready to play again. From 2:00 PM onward, your pup will continue to enjoy their time playing and will then settle in for the night.

An important note for our pet parents: We ask that you arrive with your dog before 3:00 PM on the day your dog is about to begin boarding. Dogs may be dropped off as early as we open, and our staff is on the premises from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Our certified Canine Coaches are there to supervise and interact with our dogs during play to ensure their safety and comfort. Our coaches undergo extensive training and follow a custom curriculum designed to enrich our pups’ lives. Our coaches can handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, so pet parents can rest assured their pup is in good hands.

We also offer periodic report cards so you can get a glimpse into what playtime at Dogtopia is all about. With information on your dog’s behavior, who their new furry friend is, and tips designed to replicate our training at home, you can see how your dog is learning and growing at daycare.

SAFE DOG BOARDING IN PENNSYLVANIA

Our boarding dogs can enjoy their overnight stay in a home-style crate or upgrade to a semi-private suite. Those who opt for the home-style crate get to sleep in the same playrooms they played in, that way they are familiar with their surroundings and will be near the furry friends they played with during the day. For pet parents with multiple furry family members, a semi-private suite might be a more ideal option so they can sleep in the same space, similar to how they would at home.

Speaking of home, we strongly recommend bringing your pup’s bedding or food during their boarding stay to make this truly feel like a home away from home. These reminders can help make your pup feel more comfortable and relaxed. We also suggest bringing them by our location a few days before their stay; that way they can become familiar with our space. Usually, up to three days of daycare can do the trick, and it will provide the chance for your pup to become comfortable with socializing with other dogs and our team.

At Dogtopia of Cranberry, we enforce the highest cleaning standards to make sure our dogs are safe and healthy. Each of our playrooms uses a separate HVAC system to keep them climate-controlled and at a perfect temperature, no matter what the weather looks like outside. These systems also keep clean, fresh air circulating, which helps to eliminate bacteria and viruses. We also thoroughly clean our playrooms multiple times a day using a pet-friendly, biologically safe cleaner.

WEBCAM ACCESS

We know spending time apart from your dog is not always easy. That’s why we have webcams installed in every playroom. Wherever you are, get the chance to see your pup’s playtime in action through a private stream on our website or free mobile app. It’s what we call the perfect dose of cuteness!

DOGGIE SPA DAY, ANYONE?

In true staycation fashion, book your pup a treatment at our doggie spa. Equipped with brand new spa gear, your pup will go into relaxation mode with our range of spa services, including baths and massages using dog-friendly, quality shampoo and conditioner, nail trimming, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, a fluff dries and brush outs.

We usually recommend booking a spa treatment (or several) just before you pick up your pup from their boarding stay. Treatments can easily be added to your boarding package, or you can choose standalone treatments for days when your dog needs a bit of a freshen-up. No matter what, our goal is to get your pup looking fresh and smelling like a million bones!
