Meet the Team
Sarah G., Area General Manager
Sarah has been with Dogtopia of Blackhawk since April 2022 but began her career with Dogtopia in 2020 at the Dublin location. She has always had a huge place in her heart for all living things and has found her calling working at Dogtopia caring for the wonderful dogs and parents in our pack. She loves ALL dogs but has a soft spot for Dachshunds in particular. One of Sarah’s favorite things about Dogtopia is the Dogtopia Foundation. During her time as Area General Manager, the Blackhawk location has sponsored 2 service dogs for veterans in need of life-saving companions through the Dogtopia Foundation! When Sarah is not on the clock, she enjoys crafting, watching documentaries and cuddling with her two rescue cats!”
Shannon M., Assistant Store Manager
As a child Shannon loved dogs and as she got older, the passion took over and she has been in the animal care and hospitality industry since 2015. Shannon was so lucky to join the Dogtopia team in September of 2024 and has enjoyed every minute. Making sure people’s pets are cared for like family while they are away is always her number one goal. Shannon takes pride in knowing each dog’s personalities and all their individual quirks that make them so special. Shannon’s favorite things at Dogtopia are giving all her furry friends special silly nick names, all the fun events we do to help raise funds for the Dogtopia foundation and all the good that service provides to the people in need of the unconditional love and companionship only a dog can give! In her free time, Shannon loves to paint or draw, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
