Very open and honest staff as we did our first meet and greet.

My dog LOVES it there. He is so happy and excited from the time he gets in the car to go to Dogtopia and even more so when we arrive at Dogtopia. All the employees are very nice and helpful. I especially love watching the webcam and see the employees interacting with the dogs. They seem to genuinely like the dogs. Kudos Dogtopia!!

They always get me in when I need to drop off. Everyone there really loves dogs.

DOGTOPIA FAIRFAX is amazing. . I work from home and don’t need doggy day care. But one of my two dogs is high energy and she needs the total daily interaction with other dogs. So I scheduled both dogs to attend Dogtopia one day a week. Everywhere I take them, they fight me, they don’t want to go in, the groomer, the bathing places. etc..

But when we get to Dogtopia, they are both excited to get in. Makes my heart happy.

The team at Dogtopia is amazing. I watch the dogs all day long on the camera and watch the handlers deal with humping and other issues in a professional way. If a dog is humping, they put them on a leash and keep them connected to the caregiver for a determined amount of time. Nothing harsh, just sends a message. This behavior is not OK.

I see them take the dogs outside and give them bubbles and pools to play in. They Intervene anytime there’s an issue, but also let them play interactively comfortably. The fact that they have cameras on all day, except for the two hour nap time makes me feel more comfortable. Their competitor in Fairfax does not have cameras which makes me question them. Cameras are not expensive. It’s an easy thing to do so if you don’t have cameras, what are you trying to hide?

I also for the first time booked their bathing services and I was happy with that. I wanted them to bathe them both before a long weekend. The bather gave me a report that one of my dogs didn’t like her ears cleaned and one of them didn’t like the sound of the dryer, but both were just fine at the end. And I appreciate an honest report instead of saying oh, they were just fine. They told me about my dogs’ sensitivities which I already knew. So it was good that they were aware of them as well. me.

I would recommend Dogtopia to anyone. Also, my dog trainer told me that she would only leave her dogs at Dogtopia because their employees are trained on how to handle conditions versus just overlooking dogs in a space.
