Owners Justin and Laura Rosenhagen can’t wait to show you around our newly constructed space, designed for your pup to have fun and explore. Our 5,100 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility includes more than 900 sq. ft of an outdoor shaded play area, which is ideal for sunny days. We also have three temperature-controlled indoor playrooms, so rain or shine, the weather will never interfere with playtime.

We separate our dogs based on their size, temperament, and play style to help ensure each pup feels comfortable playing and being their best doggie self. The “Toybox” playroom is best for our smaller daycare dogs who are 25lbs and under, our “Romper” room is ideal for bigger, more active dogs, and our “Gym” is for dogs who are well-socialized and older. When pups are surrounded by a like-minded pack, they can form special bonds while burning more energy because of all the new furry friends they can run around and play with.

Engaging with other dogs is incredibly important, as being around their own species positively fuels their mental and physical wellness. Playing and staying active during the day improves their overall health; our daycare dogs average around 30,000 steps per day, while most dogs get around 4,000 steps at home!

We offer both half- and full-day daycare options, along with weekly wellness plans to help keep your dog on a consistent daycare schedule. Each time your pup visits us, they will become more accustomed to our routine and to the other dogs that are also in our care, and they will begin to anticipate their next daycare visit. With our periodic report cards, you will also discover the growth in your pup, as our expert team outlines their behavior and who they’ve made friends with, while our regular customers will receive tips and tricks to replicate at home the positive training techniques we use.

Our boarding pups also get to enjoy a full day at daycare with all the benefits it brings and experience our abundant care throughout their stay. With both home-style crates and private suite options to choose from, pet parents can feel better knowing their pup is in the care of an expert team and has lots of fun furry friends to play with. Some of our pet parents also like to add a spa trip during their dog’s daycare and/or boarding stay. With a wide range of doggie spa treatments, they will leave Dogtopia feeling like a million bones!

Whether your dog stays with us during the day, for an extended overnight stay, or a quick trip to our spa, you can rest assured that your pup’s safety is our top priority. This starts with our Meet & Greet evaluation, which is our chance to meet you and your dog, show you both around our facility, determine if our open-play, off-leash play environment is best suited for them, and answer any questions you may have about our services.

Our trained evaluator will perform a thorough health history overview and nose-to-tail evaluation that includes an overall wellness check. We will observe your pup’s response when our staff interacts with them, what their comfort level is in our home-style crates used for naps, and determine how well they get along with other furry friends in a controlled mini-play area.

While we want to get to know your dog better, we also want them to get to know us. Our Meet & Greet is an ideal time for them to become acquainted with our space and expert staff. After all, we want each pup to have the Most Exciting Day Ever every time they visit Dogtopia of Fairmont Parkway.

Please note that your dog must be at least 12 weeks old and up-to-date with their vaccinations (i.e., Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP) to stay with us, while dogs seven months and older must be spayed/neutered.

We pride ourselves on creating positive and memorable experiences for pups and pet parents alike. We have an amazing staff of dog lovers who care deeply for each other, the work that they do, and making a difference in your dog’s life. Our staff believe in it so much that their dogs are also Dogtopians! We also have a relationship with a top-notch positive reinforcement trainer certified by IAABC, CCPDT-KSA, and APDT. She works with us to hold group and 1:1 training classes and even brings her dog to our daycare.

Our team of highly trained Canine Coaches closely monitor dogs in each playroom to ensure our daycare pups are socializing, behaving well with others, and having a good time. They also encourage learning by facilitating fun brain games to keep each pup’s mind and body active during the day. Experts in doggie body language and pack management, our Canine Coaches go through an extensive multi-part training process that allows them to detect even the slightest change in mood and behavior. They have the skills necessary to respond to any issues with care while rewarding good behavior with positive reinforcement. If at any point any of our daycare dogs need a break, our team responds accordingly. Your pup’s safety and wellbeing are a top priority to all of us at Dogtopia of Fairmont Parkway.

Each playroom is designed for your dog’s health. We use compressed rubberized flooring that is not only easy to sanitize but is ideal for the long-term paw, hip and joint health of dogs. We also have soundproofed full walls rather than room dividers to separate each playroom, as this helps our pups avoid distractions and stay focused on their furry friends, while also containing and preventing airborne doggie health viruses.

All of our playrooms are equipped with UV-filtered HVAC systems that work to remove bacteria, maintain fresh air circulation, and keep a comfortable play and nap time temperature. We also follow strict safety protocols designed by Dogtopia’s Environmental Biologist and Veterinary Scientist. Throughout the day, we disinfect all our playroom surfaces and equipment using pet-safe cleaning products to keep the space looking and smelling fresh. We never use harsh chemicals, and strive to have a clean facility that never smells like it’s filled with dogs (even when it is!).

Dogtopia of Fairmont Parkway has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.
