Mind your Manners Monday- “Come”

This Monday we are practicing “come” when called, or recall to you, is one of the most important skills your dog can acquire.  This behavior will help keep your dog safe and, at the same time, allow you to give your pup more freedom throughout their daily life.  Each time we ask our dogs to come to us, we are asking them to stop what they are doing and turn away from other stimuli.

Watch our coaches work on “come” in the playroom and praising the good pups with extra love an attention.

Don’t forget to work on recall at home.  We must teach our dogs that being near us is the most fun thing they can do and will bring them the most rewards.
