Jenn, Owner

Jenn is the proud owner of Mocha, an Australian Shepherd, Storm the German Shepherd and Sky the Husky. Her pups can be seen on the graphics outside her building. Jenn loves interacting with all the new pups that come to play and especially loves interacting with all the new pet parents to ensure they feel welcomed and apart of the Dogtopia family!

Daniela, Co-Owner

Daniela is Jenn’s twin sister and is a full-time teacher. She comes to help out at the store and brings her passion for animals into everything she does.

Daniela and her husband share two beloved pups, Rex and Nacho, who visit the daycare weekly and have become part of the family. Daniela loves connecting with the dogs and chatting with the staff each day, creating a warm, welcoming environment for every furry friend who comes through the door!

Kelsey, Social Media Analyst

Kelsey has been with the company even before it opened in October 2019. She is the mastermind behind the social media accounts, especially on the instagram story. She helps to create interesting and creative content to keep our followers updated on everything Dogtopia Lionhead!

Kelsey is a devoted dog mom to three energetic pups—Storm, Mocha, and Sky. She brings them to daycare three times a week, where they’ve become familiar faces full of excitement and personality. When she’s not at work or dropping them off to play, Kelsey loves taking her dogs on adventures, exploring new trails, parks, and experiences whenever she can.

Dorianna, Manager

Dorianna started working at Dogtopia Lionhead in May 2022! She has a bubbly personality, a lovely and warm smile and she would love to answer all your questions!

Greeting all the dogs in the morning or the afternoon is her favourite thing. Seeing all the gorgeous dogs playing and going home so tired at the end of the day is very heartwarming.

Jocelyn, Rover (Maternity Leave)

Jocelyn has been working with Dogtopia since the very beginning in October, 2019. She is dedicated to her work and we have seen an impressive amount of improvement with how the dogs focus and listen to her. If you see that the dogs are calm, they are most likely listening to some salsa or bachata music. She tends to speak spanish to them, so don’t be surprised if your pup goes home knowing some new words.

Adrian, Rover

Adrian has been at Dogtopia since May 2020 and he has excelled tremendously working with the dogs in the room. He loves seeing all the new dogs and puppies that come in for playtime, especially the ones that look just like his own golden retriever, Angel.

He loves to help all the dogs to listen, but he is especially a great team member that cares and wants to help out in any way he can. He’s always there to lend a hand or take advice from the other coaches in order to better maintain the dogs in the room.

Selina, Events Coordinator

Selina is a great asset to the Dogtopia Lionhead team as she genuinely cares for the dogs we have in daycare, grooming and boarding. Always wants to make sure she says “see you later” to the daycare dogs as she can’t wait to see them back again soon!

Any dogs that are boarding she always wants to make sure that they are tucked in for bed, they have eaten and they are ready for a goodnight’s sleep. She is the type of person that will read the dog a bedtime story before they all fall asleep for the night.

She truly has a heart of gold, but that’s just what we think. Let us know what you think!!

Josh, Canine Coach

Josh started with us in January 2023 and has pleasantly surprised us as a canine coach! He takes pride in caring for the dogs in every room. He was a little shy joining the team at first, but has learned that we are a friendly bunch and is opening up!

If you see Josh, make sure you say Hi – You’ll learn he’s a very friendly and kind soul!

Jason, Canine Coach

Started working at Dogtopia in January 2023 – and has never looked back (who would when they work with dogs all day?!). You can catch him on our webcams in the Gym Room handling the big dogs and playing different interactive games to keep them engaged!

He brings his own dog Peanut who is a French Bulldog – and it’s good thing he does, as he is a raging ball of energy! Jason loves that fact that Peanut can make so many friends, all while coming home tired at the end of the day!

Tyler, Dog Groomer

Tyler has over 15+ years of experience in the dog grooming industry and knows a lot about his breeds of dogs and the style they were meant for.

He is very friendly and wants to know anything specific you would like for him to do so he can make sure your pup comes out of his grooming salon looking like a million bones!

He always gets such great compliments about his work – you will surely want to try him out. You won’t be disappointment.

Alanah, Canine Coach

Alanah starting Sept 2023 and is always very attentive when getting to know the dog’s personality. She loves getting to know each and every dog in daycare and building a special bond with them. One of the amazing things you can find her doing is dancing with the dogs in daycare and having fun!

In her spare time, if you think she didn’t like dogs- she does dog walking for some people in her neighbourhood or friends!

Jamie, Canine Coach/ Front Desk

Jamie was hired by Dogtopia Lionhead in February, 2024. She has a very bubbly and kind personality which drew our attention to her. You can often catch Jamie working in the rooms as a canine coach or learning about the business at the front desk.

Jaime loves to play with bubbles in the room as she finds she can connect more with the dogs this way. Her favourite daycare dog is Zuko and she also loves singing with the dogs and playing fetch- what a great combination!!

Fredricka, Canine Coach

She was also hired in February of 2024 for her love of dogs and calm demeanor she carries.

Her bestie in the room is Tiya (she adores her). One of her favourite things to do in the room with the dogs is DANCE! You can try and catch her dancing with some of our daycare dogs- shaking those tails. Another great thing to know about Fredricka is that she LOVES giving every dog the attention and love they deserve… I think it’s because she gives them treats at the end of her shift. Maybe that’s why they listen to her……

We are more than happy she found Dogtopia Lionhead and we wish her nothing but the best learning and helping to train all these beautiful dogs!

Daniela, Rover's Assistant

Daniela started working with us in early 2024 as she has a true passion for all dogs. She loves dogs of all sizes and it brightens her day to see all of them playing together. She adores Mike the shih-poo that comes for daycare – that’s one of her favourite dogs. Her favourite thing to do is greet all the dogs in the morning and help to lead them into their daycare room.

Daniela has special needs and needs some guidance on what to do but has no trouble completing all her assigned tasks with time to spare for her favourites. She has a difficult time communicating with others, so please be patient and excepting. The staff and clients that come in have adapted and grown from her and seeing how much these dogs make her day.

You can say Hi to Daniela on Tuesday’s when she works! She has always been on time, goal driven and has never missed a day of work – Guess it really pays off to work with dogs.

Zoe, Front Desk

Zoe started with Dogtopia Lionhead in March, 2025 and had been loving the atmosphere and vibe that the pet parents and other staff members bring.

She loves greeting ALL pet parents when they come in for any of our services. Whether you are coming for daycare or your pup is staying overnight; she loves to answer your questions and make sure you are confident in our abilities to look after your furry companion. She thoroughly enjoys when her favourite daycare dog, Chivas, comes in to play – that means she will be definitely making sure she gets some 1 on 1 time with him.

You can often catch her at the front desk listening to music, but if you don’t see her there – she is probably saying “Hi” to all the other amazing daycare dogs!

Don’t forget to say see Zoe at our front desk – you will love her as much as we do!

Lily, Rover / Canine Coach

Lily started working for us in March 2025 and she has been an amazing addition to the team and the welcoming environment we have established.

It’s more than just a job. It’s a way for our employees to come together to help each other and work with our amazing 4 legged clients.

Lily comes in on her day off just to take a few dogs for a walk and assist wherever she can. She is a very helpful, engaging and observant person around the dogs. Her favourite dog (right now) is Ollie the bernadoodle and you can often catch her in the gym playing fetch with a few the bigger dogs.

Menelek, Canine Coach

Menelak joined the Dogtopia Lionhead team in February 2025, starting out as one of our quietest new coaches. With time, patience, and plenty of wagging tails, he’s truly come out of his shell and become a well-loved part of the pack. These days, Menelak gets along with everyone—humans and pups alike—and brings a calm, reassuring presence to every playroom he steps into.

While he loves all the dogs in his care, he has a soft spot for a few regulars, including Jack the doodle and Edwin the benedoodle. You’ll usually find Menelak coaching in the Toybox, where his gentle guidance helps create a fun, safe environment for our smallest adventurers, though he’s always happy to jump into any room that needs him.

Whether he’s supervising playtime or offering a comforting pat, Menelak brings heart, warmth, and plenty of smiles to Dogtoia Lionhead Daycare every day.
