I know my dog is safe and happy while she is at Dogtopia. The staff treat her like she is their own pet and my dog comes home happy every time she is there.

Camera service

Upon calling, I was able to get an appointment the next day. The person greeted me at the door and knew who we were right away, and it was my first time there! She was very nice and my dog Leo, who can be quite hyper, seemed pretty chill! He has issues getting his nails trimmed as he doesn’t like his feet touched, but she did a great job. I am very pleased and will be going back.
Also the facility is VERY clean and does not have any kind of doggie odor!
I highly recommend!!

I first went to a different Dogtopia to inquire because it was closer to my job. However, they didn’t have the same amount of supervision as Milford, nor the outdoor space, so I chose to drive the extra distance and try the Milford location out. I also like the fact it’s next door to my vet’s office in case of any issue. I was greeted by very pleasant front staff members who were eager to answer my questions and to calm any concerns I might have. I decided to do the eval and we did a full day of daycare that day. My dog was put into the gym the first day. I love the cameras and being able to watch my dog while she is there. This gives me a greater comfort level as I can see what is being done and what my dog’s day is like. In all honesty, my puppy is still kind of learning to “dog”. Because of this, I was grateful that the staff were willing to listen to me when I noted that my dog seemed more stressed in the Romper room on her second day when rough play occurred (she would pace and bark, almost trying to stop it) and that she seemed happier in the gym. They listened and moved her back to the gym, and I see a positive change with her now starting to initiate play. I see also that she has made a friend with another dog while in the gym, which has made me really happy. While the staff are busy, I note a few do take time to show the various dogs some affection, and my dog definitely appreciated it (as do I!). My dog keeps going to stand near those staff members and I can tell she likes them. The staff do a lot of cleaning, and the place feels well maintained and looked after. I like the fact the dogs are broken out not just by size but by activity level and play type. This allows dogs to find a space that works well. I was also pleased that on busy days or in more boisterous rooms, they have 2 staff members there to supervise. The front desk staff is very helpful and informative. They explain things clearly and are willing to answer any questions you might have. My dog is excited the moment we pull up and can’t wait to go in. She’s happy to see me at the end of the day and promptly falls asleep when she gets home from her active day.

I’m still learning the crate theory and process they use. Sometimes it’s disheartening to see “oh, she’s back in the crate” even when it’s another dog picking on her. But I am trying to trust the process and I think sometimes the time out space is appropriate and helpful to all of the dogs. I think that the longer we are there and the better the staff get to know my pup, the experience will improve even more. I’m so far quite impressed with my decision to go with Dogtopia of Milford.

Friendly staff, clean, lots of options for stays and the ability to watch your dog at play on your device. Also the staff is very careful about assessing the nature and compatibility of all dogs which makes me feel my dog is safe. Thank you.

Everyone that works at Dogtopia in Milford is wonderful and kind. They truly care about our Brady and always great him with an exciting “hello”.
Brady loves it so much he is always eager to go straight inside and get started playing with his friends.
