I really liked the pictures posted daily to social media of the pups having fun so I’m sad to see that those have stopped. My dog is happy and tired after daycare and is always excited to go. The trainers are great and take great care of my dog when she is there with all of her friends.

My fur baby gets loving care from the staff.

We were very spoiled at our doggy daycare in Phoenix where we didn’t have to worry about set and scheduled days. For example, if we have 2 days a week, we were able to use those days without scheduling specific days and as our schedules changed, we could change up the dogs days, so one week would be a Monday and a Tuesday and the next week we’d do Wednesday and Friday… Additionally, our place in PHX was open 24 / 7 so we always dropped the dogs off when we went out to dinner at night and picked them up on the way home, this was fabulous for all of us!

Lastly, Seve eats other dogs poop. He throws up when we get home about 60% of the time. I know it’s his issue and that the dogtopia team can’t always prevent it, but we did not have this issue in PHX, as they were very good at keeping the poop eaters separate from times where dogs were pooping. If we ever leave dogtopia for a different dog day care, it will be because of Seve’s continued throwing up. It is not sustainable long term. We used to go 3x a week, but he was throwing up 80%, and we’ve dropped it by dropping days, but it’s still a problem.

I love all of the coaches, everyone is always so nice and accommodating. I also really appreciate that the dogs that are there a vetted before so I am confident that my dog is around positive dogs and not dogs that are going to potentially cause behavioral issues.

The staff couldn’t be any better

Since the changeover there have been communication issues. To be expected, but in previous experiences the “family feel” we had at our old daycare went away when the original owners sold. I am hoping that doesn’t happen here. We’ll see. The change to Sunday hours was a big deal for us, much less convenient. Going from package pricing to the weekly schedule and no multi-dog discount unlike other daycares in the area. We really like the staff, but one of the things that was the most impressive was the connectivity with the owner and seeing them and their commitment to the business and the dogs. I know nothing about the new owners – now it just seems like another “chain”. Hoping the staff stays constant and doesn’t turnover because that would definitely impact our decision to recommend and to stay.

I love how excited the staff get when they greet Pepper each morning! She gets so excited to go to daycare and even though she can be mischievous they do a wonderful job redirecting her attention and helping to curb naughty behavior.

Most loving staff and clean establishment. Our dog is so excited to spend time at Dogtopia Pewaukee that we can’t contain him in the car when he knows he’s close to being dropped off for his fun!
