Every new pup starts with a scheduled Meet & Greet. When you arrive, we’ll spend about 15–20 minutes together going over your Welcome Packet and a few quick questions about your dog’s history. Then we’ll take your pup back to spend the day with us, where our Canine Coaches complete a temperament evaluation while they make new friends and get comfortable in our open-play environment. Later that day, we’ll give you a call with an update and set up a pickup time — that’s when you’ll tour the facility, see your pup in action, get all your questions answered, and find the right plan for your pup, plus book any future stays.

We require up-to-date Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza vaccinations (we also strongly recommend the Leptospirosis vaccine). Dogs seven months and older must be spayed or neutered, and all pups must be in good overall health and free of communicable illness. These standards help protect every dog in our care.

Yes. Our team is experienced with medications and common special care needs, including mild anxiety and mobility support. We review each dog’s needs in advance.

Yes. Parents can check in through our live webcams during playtime hours using Dogtopia’s app or website for added peace of mind.

Yes. We’re conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 80 and Highway 65, making us an easy drive from Rocklin neighborhoods such as Whitney Ranch and Stanford Ranch.

Dogs are grouped primarily by play style and energy level, with size and age also considered to create safe, happy playgroups.

Dogs enjoy multiple structured play sessions throughout the day, all fully supervised by our trained Canine Coaches, with rest breaks built in to keep them healthy and happy. Our team members are experts in doggie body language and behavior and will get to know your pup’s personality and care needs.

Our indoor, climate-controlled playrooms maintain consistent temperatures year-round. Dogs have frequent water access, rest breaks, and close supervision to keep them safe and comfortable. Playtime at Dogtopia is not weather dependent!

We recommend a few daycare visits beforehand so your dog becomes familiar with our routine. Bringing their regular food and sharing notes about habits or preferences also helps boarding feel more like home.

Dogs sleep overnight in the same playroom they enjoyed during the day, in secure individual sleeping spaces, surrounded by familiar sights, sounds, and canine friends. This intentional continuity helps many dogs settle more naturally than transitioning to isolated suites.

Yes. Dogs may also bring familiar bedding for sleep time, and we provide house food, clean house beds and blankets, soft crate pads, and elevated cots at no additional charge as well.

Boarding dogs participate in daycare play sessions during the day, with rest periods in between. Overnight guests also have routine movement and care before and after playtime hours.

Parents can view live webcams during playtime, and our team is always happy to share updates or photos upon request.

Absolutely. Many dogs experience some level of separation anxiety, and our structured routines, social environment, and attentive team help provide reassurance and stability.

Boarding dogs follow a familiar daycare-style routine with supervised play, rest breaks, meals, enrichment, and care throughout the day, followed by a calm, cozy nighttime routine that feels like home.

For comfort, we provide soft crate pads and elevated cots at no extra charge. Many dogs also enjoy bringing familiar bedding from home.
