Toshin Makarh and his brown doodle Archie

Toshin Makarh, General Manager

Toshin grew up with dogs and currently has a doodle named Archie. One of his goals is to increase the life span of dogs around him by spreading awareness and educating pet parents on the benefits of adopting dogs and helping them live happier lives.

Kyla Tiedeman, Sales and Marketing Manager/PPRM

A PNW native and recent University of Washington graduate, Kyla is a new and enthusiastic edition to the Dogtopia of Seattle – Roosevelt Square team! She has a 12-year-old silver Labrador retriever named Diesel and loves spending as much time as possible with dogs.

Jessica, Groomer

A proud graduate of Masers Academy of Fine Grooming in Kenmore, Washington, Jessica began her professional grooming journey in 2007. With almost twenty years of hands-on experience, she’s worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, temperaments, and coat types—there’s no pup she can’t handle with patience and care.
Jessica’s grooming philosophy centers around quality over quantity. She intentionally keeps her schedule light, booking only a limited number of appointments each day. This allows her to give every dog the dedicated, one-on-one attention they deserve—helping to build trust, ease anxiety, and create a positive grooming experience rooted in friendship and respect. When your pup is with Jessica, they’re in gentle, skilled hands—and they just might leave with a new best friend, too!
