Meet the Team
Ronnie Howell aka Paw Paw, Franchisee
Ronnie Howell, aka PawPaw, started Blooming Raider, LLC in 2024 as an investment venture to simply keep him occupied during his retirement from the oil and gas industry. His goal was to invest some of his retirement money into a steady paced, low-overhead business that he could easily manage only working a couple days a week. He however, did not obtain this goal. After the suggestion of franchising a Dogtopia Dog Daycare by his youngest son Travis, he knew that this opportunity wasn’t the one he wanted, but the one he NEEDED. PawPaw’s undeniable love for his granddogs Chewy and Luke was the major driving factor behind his decision. He tossed out this easy retirement investment idea, and chose to put his heart and soul towards his best buds. He knew that he could not do this adventure alone, and there was only one person he could trust with his dogs, his business, and most importantly, his money: his son Travis.
Travis Howell, General Manager
Travis Howell started his professional career on the path to being a licensed architect. However after several years in the field he found his career lacking in vertical movement and his creativity beginning to dwindle. When approached by PawPaw to be his General Manager and go into this venture together, Travis took the crazy leap. He upheaved his whole life, moved to Denton, and is now proud to be able to call himself a Dogtopian. Travis also, did not make this decision alone, in May of 2025, amongst the chaos of starting a new business, he married the love of his life, Taylor.
Taylor Howell, Parent Relations Manager
Taylor Howell joined the team through marriage, proxy, and a drive to always do the crazy thing. Her career spans several different industries and markets. Including teaching, car sales, third-party logistics coordination, and even a stop at Dutch Bros to just get away from corporate life by serving coffee for a little bit. She is the spirit of the team and keeps the boys in-line. Together, the Howell family is bringing their wide background of skills, talents, and just a little bit of crazy to Denton to give every dog in town The Most Exciting Day Ever!
Giselle Santos, Canine Coach Trainer
Giselle brings to the team a wealth of dog knowledge and experience. She has been a team member at other dog daycare facilities and has committed a lot of her personal time volunteering at animal shelters.
